I love this! I made one with a 12" x 12" piece of double-sided scrapbook paper and had so much fun. It took several hours to make and embellish, and it turned out better than I expected. So, today, I received a very sturdy professional journal, took out the staples, and turned every page into a junk journal substrate. I can't wait to make junk journals now that the hard part is done.

Love this! When using the directional butterflies, You could turn the paper so the butterflies are heading to the right, then on the back they would be heading left.

Hi Natasa. I knew within the first few seconds that this video was going to be amazing, so I clicked "Like" right away. It's because I had been watching Origami videos on how to fold paper into little books but not one of them showed sewing/gluing in embellishments, let alone signatures (brilliant), and as usual, your unique touch has turned this project into "fantastic" and then some. It made me want to grab my papers and immediately start creating (and I"m going to do that later today - stopping the video throughout so I can create while you do). And.. finely after 11 months I finished 6 of these, and the are beautiful. (Of course I did a lot of other things :-) ) As you said: Not difficult, but a lot of work. I have done one of the accordion mini books from a 12 x 12 paper, but it had extra folds so the result was a 3x3 tiny book, and where you have your one pocket, this one has 3 areas where it could have pockets, or flip upside down or something. Really too small to do very much. I like the bigger 6x3 size that you end up with, and the idea of sewing in signatures is brilliant, I could even try out different types of stitches for sewing in signatures without too much being at stake. I really like all the little pockets and tags that you made. I could see each signature being for a month of a planner, or a week depending on how busy you are. My current planner is missing some stuff, like a place for a list of books I want to buy, or contacts/address book. I think I might want a ribbon closure on each "side" with different colors. So I could open one side for notes, photos, journal, art, and the other side for contacts and recipes or whatever. This looks like fun. Thanks. Off to watch your 4 pocket video!
