The numbers are layers for decoupaging.....layering them up to create a 3D effect. But I personally use them individually more like stickers. I love the Flora pack and that gold paint! Not overly keen on the first art journal style image book, they're more suited for boho / bright pages / modern abstract kind of projects, rather than vintage junk journals....but that Flora pack is gorgeous! The bow maker you can also use two sets of posts for a layered double bow...go round the outer posts, then the inner posts, then tie. You can also loop round and round many times to create a really loopy rosette style bow, like gift bows. Oh and the envelopes are lovely! They're definitely something I'd have grabbed...simple, unnecessary, but soooooo satisfying! 😁😁😁 EDIT*** you just did the double bow after I'd typed that! 😂🤣😅

HI Natasa, I love the little journal you quickly pulled together. It's so lovely to have all of the papers and embellishments ready to assemble. By the way, the die cut book you have from Marlene (as in Art by Marlene) is a combination of die cuts and design collage papers that Marlene has released in smaller books over the years. (Which is fabulous because some of them are now out of print.) She has about four product launches each year and at Christmas, releases an advent calendar with stamps and dies, and stencils and other goodies behind the 25 mini doors.

wish we had something like this here in Namibia.. Even the real hobbyshop closed about 7 years ago. Since 3 years we have a scrapbookingshop again, but every time I really need something they do not have it. I needed an awl, a scoreboard, a punch of a big square, those small glue tip bottles and refills for my distress ink. Not one of these things they had. All had to be ordered and were so very expensive that I decided NOT to do that and go on without, as 'till now I always managed!! All the things they do have I have already myself. It is so frustrating. But there are so many worse things in the world, I cannot complain as of all the projects you posted, there is not one I cannot do, thanks so much for all your super projects, for all the quality time I spend making beautiful books instead of sitting in front of a TV doing nothing, and for all the satisfying moments when the project is ready and the good feeling I have about it, You already for years and years 'rule' my life, and I am very grateful for that! love from Namibia ❤

Hi Natasha, I think the blending tool is for alcohol inks, it is the same as my one. I have the round ones too & use them for paper edges etc. You can buy replacement pads for them in a pack & not have to buy the whole tool set again. I love the Marlene pad, she is from The Netherlands & does a wide range of crafts items. When I covert you AUD to Pounds it all sounds much cheaper than it would be in the UK! I love your videos, they are really well put together & never dull, thank you.

Hi Natasha. I found a great new use for my embossing folders - probably was on a KZbin, Pinterest or similar. We all save and use the cereal box cardboard for journals and crafting but now I also save the clear plasticy/velum type bags that actually hold the cereal inside the box. I open them out flat, wipe them clean, cut to size and run through my machine with an embossing folder to suit. They can be folded, sew up three sides to make an envelope. They are really pretty to use in lots of journal spots as well. Maybe you are onto this trick but just wanted to share if others haven’t seen it yet.

Hi Natasa, lovely to see you had a treat day out, they are so good for you. You got some scrumptious stuff. I too, have that floral set and it has sat, unused on a shelf for ages, but thanks to you I have new plans for it 👍😀 I. Know the book was a bit expensive, but it contains so much and the designs are such fun, I love it. I had a bit of luck in a charity/ thrift shop today, a bag of wooden stampers and 6 large ink pads all for £4.50, don't know what the exchange rate is, but that was a super bargain. Then they had a load of loose wooden alphabet stampers, and I got 24 out of 26 letters for a further £1.50, that's silly cheap, and all in good condition too. Got a few other bits and bobs too, so very happy. Don't you just love finding those unexpected bargains, especially when you know you will actually use them, instead of hiding/ hoarding them 😂😂😂 yes we all do it, I have so much paper that is just too nice to use and I'm afraid to cut into it, aren't we just so silly sometimes. This years resolution is to use what I've got ----- but as you can see there is always something out there to tempt our strongest resolve!!! Thankyou for sharing with us and love what you did with the envelopes and the mini journal is lovely - must get the embossing folders out 😂😂👏🏼👍😘luv n hugs from Victoria 😘💐😘

The rectangular blending tool you bought is for blending alcohol inks. It has a different foam brush. You can discard the round blending pads and buy refills in bulk packages. You should never use your ink pads until dry. You buy reinkers to keep the pad soft and reusable. Just thought I'd let you know. Not intending to criticize. Glad you got some exciting new stuff.

Love the vintage package you bought. Oh, that printed vellum! I use the small round furniture pads that have the sticky backs on the bottoms of shaving brushes for inking. You can also stick them to empty spools. It's very economical, and no bits flaking off. Would love to find a crafting sale for paper supplies. You'll get much use out of your haul.

Hi Natasa! I can't believe how fast you made that journal! I know it was sped up, but still. So glad you treated yourself to a day out and some great products! You deserve it. You work very hard. I have that rectangular blending tool and I hate it. Actually threw it away last week. Took forevEr to get a good amt. of ink on it. I also have the ones that you stick on the end of your finger that are dome shaped. They come off in little pieces , like you were saying, on first use!! I also have a single bow maker. Absolutely love it! A friend of mine had her husband make them for us (card club) for Christmas one yr. Love the eclectic book! This was wonderful! The rectangle blender foam looks like it's a cheap imitation of Ranger's original version of a foam blender, which was rectangle shaped. They switched at some point to the current version of the circle shaped, which is what you've been using, and foam will wear out after awhile, so you can buy just the replacement foam circles in packages so you don't have to pay for the wood if you don't want to. Also, that embossing folder that is labeled for Christmas does NOT look at all Christmas-y to me. (Maybe they are supposed to be snowflakes?) If you hadn't told me they were Christmas-related, I never would have guessed, and both of those embossed gold envelopes look beautiful! I love what you did with the card-making package pages--just gorgeous. You are getting a LOT of mileage out it already!
