My mother would have absolutely adored you Natasha. She was born in 1924, had a long and happy life and I recall her sharing fond memories of making paper flowers with her girlfriends. During the war (WW2), lots of letter writing to the soldier boys from our small town, lots of paper decorating. Your videos are wonderful, thank you so much!

Mine don't look very much like yours Natasha but I had a lot of fun making them! I made them quite small, decoupaged them to a piece of paper with shiny sealer to make a boarder to glue into my current journal. You always inspire!

You are my kind of lady. I recycle everything and have been known to pick things up off the ground while out taking a walk. I always has a zip bag with me. Nothing goes out in the trash unless I have made sure I can make something, repurpose it or use it.

I an so ready for spring! It's an embossing tool, but there are clay tools that have a bigger ball on the end to make bigger dots. The crafters who paint mandala's on rocks use them too.

Hi Natasa-oh i just LUV these paper flowers-your right, they can be used in/on anything-you could even make cute garland if you strung them onto string or twine. They are darling - easy - and maybe even a bit "evil" ;-) that was cute-i needed a little giggle today (i say the wrong words a lot myself) you do the best tutorials Natasa! I know I could simply go buy a package of flowers from the craft store-but... i love that i can have fun making my own, and have a stash of unique craft supplies. Just adding 1 or 2 of these flowers to a store bought greeting card makes it even more special and unique. thanks so much for sharing!

If you use a varnish or finishing spray, or even paint glitter or a pearlescent paint medium (the stuff you add to paint to make it pearlescent) you could probably use old magazines for a more shabby chic look. The varnish or mediums should give it the thickness you've suggested with the magazine pages.

Hi . I have tried out making these this past week. And they turned to be so much fun, I have made quite a few. And I have been using things like glitter glue and paint, buttons, puffy stickers, and sequence that I have had for awhile. Hi Natasha, These flowers are special. I can think of a few other designs, for example, when wrapping a gift for a little girl, you could write her name any way you'd like (calligraphy) in each petal, add glitter or glitter paint and embellish all over-ha! This looks so fun I'm excited to start. TFS as always, I am completely partial to your videos for these reasons:: they are rarely long & drawn out, you are very funny, your videos are simply gorgeous (even when using scraps and silly household goods), and your demonstrations are very very helpful by seeing how to do the project, you often tell us where we can get beautiful things such as Taperology & other shops, and more...
