June 2020: I was born & raised in NYC, and visited the old NYS Historical Society building many times; it is just south of the Museum of Natural History. I loved the Tiffany lamps and vases, the beautiful old furniture and photographs, and especially the Audubon paintings. Now 35 years since I lived in NYC, and would like to go back & see all the changes and renovations in the museums and performance venues I enjoyed so much as a child and young adult.

17:35 Thankfully they weren't allowed to knock down walls and create a glass entrance LOL It would instantly destroy the character and architecture of the building...

everything has to be sexed-up like a video game these days to keep over-stimulated young eyes from wandering, i get it, but still SAD.
