Needless to say you really got my attention with that album cover lol. I look forward to the tour of your new place. And yeah, I hope Peach makes a response video.

Finding that at a reasonable price was one of life's small graces. I'd sooner starve than sell it.

I like your treasures. : ) Jimi Hendrix's Electric Ladyland, very cool. Still have my vinyl albums, and the one that is the most special to me is the original album of Street Survivors by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Being big fans of Southern Rock, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, we bought it as soon as it was released. A few days later that plane crash happened. MCA pulled the cover and replaced it with a picture without the flames. That Smell is like a kick in the gut. I remember the exact moment I heard on the radio about the crash. I still miss Ronnie and the boys.

Lots of covers got released, then pulled, usually for issues of taste. The Lynyrd Skynyrd example being respect for the departed, but usually its to do with salacious covers being deemed a step too far. _Electric Ladyland_ is the earliest example I'm aware of. Other examples would be Funkadelic's _Electric Spanking of War Babies,_ as well as Bon Jovi's _Slippery When Wet,_ and Guns n Roses _Appetite For Destruction._ I'd practically cream if I came upon one of those on vinyl with the original cover at a reasonable price.

Keep looking. I'll bet a lot of folks like me are still hanging on to our vinyl albums, and our stereo systems, but we can't take them with us when we croak and our kids will probably send them back out into the world. P.S. Still have the first album I ever bought (baby sitting money), Waiting for the Sun by the Doors. And, get this, still have my 45s, too. First 45 I bought was Wild Thing, by the Troggs. : D I cherish them all.

My first 45 was _Grease_ by Frankie Vally. My first LP was _Revolver_ by The Beatles. My original vinyl album collection (about 300 LPs, the vast majority of which were only played once, to be recorded onto cassette) was stolen in 1984. All the vinyl I have now was acquired after that.

Grease is the word. : ) Revolver is a great album. My first Beatles album was Meet the Beatles. My aunt gave it to me for my birthday. My mother was not thrilled-lol. All that long hair. ; ) The British Invasion was awesome. I have around 250 or so. Serious bummer about your stuff getting stolen. What an evil person to do that, a real blue meanie. P.S. Listened to Grease, wise words there. Now I'm listening to Revolver with a happy grin on my face. KZbin might drive us nuts sometimes, but easy availability of music is totally cool. Good Day Sunshine. : )

I'm not all that attached to stuff, and I don't make many videos any more, but I'll have a think and see if anything comes to mind. Thanks for thinking of me anyway.

oh btw. that Jimi Hendrix album is awesome. that album cover would not fly in america though. speaking of which,Jimi was way more popular in England than he was in america,at least before he died anyway...

The album cover was available in America for a short time, as it was here, but got banned due to the nudity. I've no idea how many copies were produced before it got pulled, all I do know is it is so rare I'd never seen the original cover until about 7 years ago, at a collector's event. The original cover with an original print vinyl inside was selling for about £250.
