So I'm sort of curious as to why there is a withdrawal period or for processing cattle dosed with ivermectin because it is a relatively harmless drug

This is if they are sold for meat; even though it's a benign drug, you may not want it in your food.

Not sure why but they have mange that keeps coming back every year where they start losing patches of hair. The Ivermectin works for about six months and then it comes back, pretty weird. Maybe they are picking it up from wild animals?

1ml per 22 pounds. So take the weight of the cow and divide it by 22, and that's how many ml you give them.

The instructions say no but I've never had any issues in my live stock guardian dogs. I treat the dogs at the same time I treat the livestock but some dogs have issues with ivermectin. There is a test the vet can do. Alot of heartworm meds for dogs contain ivermectin. (Definitely do your research and only use this at your own risk and do not use unless a vet says it's OK.)

can humans take the vet form of ivermectin...is it exactly the same as the pharma ivermectin for humans ....ive heard it was

I’ve taken it for years... I started taking it years ago when I had an illness that no doctor could diagnose. I took it more often then and now I take it every so often as preventative therapy.. there’s no harm in it.. I buy it in horse paste form .. Don’t chew it.. it’s gross.. just take a chunk of the gel onto your finger.. put in your mouth .. away from the tongue.. and have a drink ready to swallow the gel whole.. again, don’t chew it or try to dissolve it in your mouth.. I used to use soda since it covers any taste of the ivermectin that may get in your mouth but now I just use water and have a cough drop ready to reduce the taste in my mouth. I then take whatever is left on my finger and just rub it in my skin.. usually the back of my neck near the top of my spine.. if nothing else it will just help with getting rid of parasites in your system... good luck!
