You two are pretty athletic. Have you tried doing a few HIIT work outs a week? It really improved my overall health even though I was already in very good shape.

What bike shoes and pedal system/cleats are you using. I stopped riding clipless when I stopped racing and now mainly commute by bike and for fitness. However, I’m planning to do some touring, so I’m interested in going back to a clipless system. Thoughts?

Hi brave women! Just read that a person can get h-pylori from water that isn’t clean or foods that haven’t been washed properly. With all the camping you do I’m sure it’s not easy to find clean water. Hope you both stay well and take care of yourselves. We love your videos! ❤❤

So sorry you have been suffering Kristy but proud to tell you that the man who discovered the bacteria ulcer link is from little ol Perth Western Australia. He won Nobel prize for the discovery. He infected himself to test and prove the link. It has been a big game changer for many people and only sorry you didn’t get treated earlier. He is a wonderful lovely man too. Now we need a clever podiatrist or foot doctor of some sort. Rock on girls - you can do it.

Thank God for antibiotics that can kill the “big H”! You ladies are super inspiring! I’m 58, now, so I know the feeling! Lol! Can’t work out as many days straight as I used to be able to do! Have y’all ever thought about training for a shorter Triathlon? It’s called “Sprint Triathlon “ which is way shorter than a “full triathlon “. Y’all are biking anyway, so thought it might fit your “fit” lifestyle! Just throw in a swim, and y’all could probably do it, tomorrow!

Yep, you should throw away the pills, get in your truck, go to Eichen's, now it is always crowded, but they will make room for you, ordera chicken, order of fried okra, and 2 to 3 Coors, you will be cured when you go get in your truck. Best beer joint in Oklahoma.

Sorry to hear of the H-pylori infection. I'm not sure what probiotics you are taking in conjunction with your antibiotic regiment. (I;m thinking your antibiotics are probably biaxin or flagyl) If you are getting a metallic type funny taste in your mouth thats likely the flagyl. Do keep in mind that the antibiotics are indiscriminate about killing bacteria in the gut...meaning they can also kill good bacteria and the probiotic bacteria you are taking as well. Hopefully you are taking saccharomyces boulardii which is a yeast based probiotic and not killed off by the antibiotics. If you aren't check with your Dr about adding it to your regiment. All the best from Ashland, Oregon.

It's interesting to me that Dr's really don't know much at all about probiotics. A balanced gut is so important to our health. Tx for the info!

@@teresabass5306 Actually I think its the way that medicine is practiced now. A person goes to their GP, they order tests, The test results come back and the person is referred to a specialist. That specialist treats the immediate condition....but often is out of touch with the persons general medical history and or condition. A case maybe unaware that the patient has had multiple rounds of antibiotics over the past few years and the gut may already be compromised. Gives the prescription and figures take a probiotic or eat sour kraut thinking everything is ok. Then 2 weeks after the the antibiotics the patient develops a c-diff infection. Everything is a rush and handed off from GP to lab to specialist.

Thought it was trail magic at the gas station lol. Just so you know I was on two antibiotics twice a day and omeprazole for years. Omeprazole affects microbiome too but you should be ok. I know you eat a healthy diet. Good to hear you got a diagnosis. Enjoyed your video as always.😊❤
