I had 12 BCG treatments over a 2 year period in 2021 and 2022 and so far I’m okay. Bladder cancer didn’t return . Last saw urologist in Sept. of this year everything looked good . Next appointment in March 2024

I am surely a candidate for BCG + interferon as after five successful BCG treatments, I have now failed a sixth. This is over a 14 year period. Wish I had a urologist background. I absorbed 50% of what was said because I'm a patient. TURBT to take place in 2-3 weeks to determine non-aggressive vs. aggressive.

Google the Joe Tippens story,about 4 to 5 weeks before the camera check of the bladder after 2 series of the bcg treatments which I feel were not working I had started this treatment.The camera found no tumors and a urine sample was taken at this time for the fish test for cancer cells.About 10 days later the nurse from Winneshiek Medical in Decorah Ia. called and said the test was negative for cancer cells.
