The v treb or variable treble bleed circuits just have another pot with a resistor and cap that lets you adjust to every setting possible instead of choosing only one combo. I'm trying to find out what the value of preset pot and cap and resistor is on the v treb so I can make them. Turning a screwdriver to adjust it vs soldering different values of caps and resistors until you find the Best sound

Hey thanks so much! I believe for this video I was just using the Supersonic, no OD pedals. Possibly a delay or reverb somewhere in the mix.

Been playing many years with my volume and tone all the way up. I play mostly 80's metal. If I want to change my tone or volume I go straight the amp. I'm building a new guitar. Was considering the bleed mod. Will it change my tone if I keep playing all the way up. ?

No. All the way up should stay the same

In theory it shouldn't, but in reality it will to some slight degree. Why get a treble bleed if you play with the volume all the way up most of the time as you are introducing a couple of new variables that could affect your tone? Personally I don't like treble bleeds, because they sterilize the dynamics of an electric guitar.

For the guitar with no treble bleed with duncan jb, what pots are u using, 500k or 250k pots.

I believe those were 250. All the electronics in that guitar were switched out a while ago, can't remember what all was in it

At the time they both had stock pickups except for the JB in the bridge of the brown strat.
