It would be interesting to see a cost comparison of some sort vs trucking and dumping. I know they have used this at Halifax Shopping Centre for years so they have seen some value in it.

I have no experience in this whatsoever but it seems that it might be more efficient than ya'd think. Given that the output only has to be marginally above freezing to make it into the storm drain, and I'm guessing storm drains remain above freezing from ground warmth.

The water coming out of machine should also melt snow...
@MrBoratWOW Жыл бұрын
If the water is warm enough, you could use a floc tank or something similar and also dump snow into that too melt. Even more efficient than trucking the snow to a disposal site.

This would just create ice

@@slicedlimes7948 you stage it by a storm drain and use a hose with a 90 degree end to direct it down the drain.

But it does melt 2.8 tons per 1 gallon of fuel. Highly Efficient.

@@TheDJRoadrunner come to my neck of the woods where we have had well above average snowfalls. Fuel efficient cars can not drive around because they get hung up on the snow. You need a 4x4 vehicle to move around with ease. They burn more fuel than cars. There is limited space along streets to pile snow up. So you can melt it, truck it out or shall we just shut down the economy so you climate change propagandists can be happy?

The music is over the top and the announcer is just literally puking milk out of her nose. Need to dial it back about 20% there.

Music was very irritating. I would rather not have the music. If it was felt that it was necessary, ok, but turn the volume down.

An amazing number of clueless NPCs on these comments. Luddites who don't care if anyone else freezes to death in the dark, as long as they can still watch Netflix.
