My god such a Classic KZbin video. I played JoS the first time in a school gig. At that time I was only been playing for months and we've played like shit (but everyone liked it) . I remember watching your video amazed by your precision and faithfulness. 10 years later, now I'm going to play it again in a local show here in Naples, Italy and it's gonna be full of friends. You play great, but one tip. It's a cover, your supposed to make the song your own. I noticed that you played exactly what Tre Cool plays in the song. Try to add some cool fills or something into the song so that it's not just a green day song, it's your song. Good job btw

Tre cool is not famous for his drum solos. His is famous for that he NEVER plays a normal drum riff, there allways some special thing in it. There maybe a few songs were he plays normal riff. But almost never. I Think that he and Chad Smith a the 2 most underrated drummers ever. And great cover btw

What Chezmix said is wrong. Just work on getting your doubles right and single strokes very fast and you'll be fine.

+Rowin Slag uhh no. It's impossible to do single strokes THAT fast. A roll is always done by holding the sticks loosely and banging them against the drum so they bounce but not too loosely or else they'll bounce too fast. Have you even played a drum before? Cause if you can do single strokes THAT fast I praise you for being super human

You guys might not believe this, but Tre Cool had his drums setup this way back in 1992. Yes, white in color, two floor toms, and one rack tom. It disappeared through-out the Dookie days to the Warning era where some people would think his standard drumset in 1994 went into transitional changes after Insomniac and finally turning into what it looks like now. It then makes a comeback in 2004 with the American Idiot album with a Crash Ride, and a China Cymbal. I'd love to have the set.
