Hi Slack, I understand that you need to speed up resource gathering as you need a lot of wood. The alternative is to make a universal tree farm. I would resolve it this way as the mod seems too cheaty.

I bet you could figure out a way to get The Creaking as a switch for rails. As you look at one, they behave differently and trigger redstone making it switch rails. That way you can use less rails and have a nifty little redstone project.

All good man. Your time and my time are not infinite. You don't need to chop it all and I don't need to watch it. Makes for a better experience all round.

Thank you for the consistent continued content! Really loving the style! Always seem to have a new video just when i need something to watch!

Brother I've been vanilla bedrock since 360, I am trying to build a long term world with add ons. Love it

I'm on the fence about the tree mod. I understand how how much it helps give you back time to create fuller content content rather than spending hours chopping trees for materials. In the end if its something that helps you and you like it then do it. Always a 👍in my book!!

I love our community ❤️ As far as the tree vein mining mod, I probably won't use it on bedrock, cause I prefer to play vanilla bedrock and modded java. It's cool though, I can't believe just how fast hatter put the mod together.

Bruh I use small mods like that too cuz I just can’t grind like that. It makes me feel better about my own world that a pro like you can also enjoy the game the way I do. 😊 I support it, especially testing out random ones for fun and what not. God speed!!!

Good video. You mentioned about audio last time and honestly I can’t even tell. Wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t said anything (of course I’m hearing impaired so probably missed the subtle stuff). The chop mod is pretty cool and ya I’d definitely use it. In fact I’ve noticed a couple add on on marketplace I would like but cost is the main problem for me as I only play on Xbox. As a result I’ve grown to generally avoid watching content that is either heavily modded, java, or both. And biggest reason is cause I just can’t relate to it. I’m ok as an example with Mad Hatters series primarily because it’s bedrock and doesn’t seem heavily modded (minus sky block thing). Or the create mod in Java, I watch only one creator because he’s just generally entertaining and neat builds. But as soon as he starts talking about technical create stuff I just fast forward. Thanks for the good videos. Take all the time ya need.

I love that we play the actual game as bedrockers

I love vein miners/tree capacitators, but I do feel that they do need to be balanced with the durability thing as well. So it is awesome that MadHatter did that somewhat in the one you are using. I often see them to use either one durability point or none, so to see the durability use is great. I also definitely vote for you to use mods in your world. However, I would stay away from mods that drastically change the vanilla feel. I enjoy the vanilla feeling (at least in this world). I have watched other content that is heavily modded and it can get a little overwhelming. Also, I have a question for you. Do you have any special nicknames for enderman or zombies, like you do for skeletons and creepers?

Oh I use a addon that does the treecapitator thing and I love it! It saves me so much time and I will not give it up in my solo world!

Totally agree with the tree capicator mod. And for all those that are screaming foul……well folks got their own opinions. You do you Cap, time saving is key. And i want to see what mods folks like you use on the daily, cause I’m always hunting for an edge. I downloaded TreeCapitator add-on from the game marketplace and love it. It’s customizable on settings.

I love the tree chopping mod and would love to use it. A lot of the mods that I have tried I have first seen you or others use in videos like these. For me it adds to the game.

A great quality of life upgrade that should be an enchantment in the game. I don’t envy all the acacia and dark oak you have to chop for your tail line

Cool tree chopper mod. I'm cool with you either using it or not...but I'd love it for my world 😉 I'd also love the mod you have that shows the durability number. Is that mod available anywhere (and/or on your discord). Nice work with the bastion. It was convenient that all the brutes lined up for the firing squad. If only all bastions were that simple. Looking forward to what comes next, and to the collaboration and guests you'll invite in for the various projects. ~Cam

I think vein-miner is slightly too modded for me personally, however I'd like fast leaf decay on bedrock, so you chop the trees as normal and then when the last log goes all the leaves and gubbins all drop.

You did most of the nether stuff on a stream, so you skipped over it a lot in the video episode. I'd really like to see a Slack tutorial on all things nether and portals, I think that'd be fantastic. As for mods, let me preface my thoughts by saying I don't care what other people use, if it improves their enjoyment of the game, I'm all for it. You do you, y'know? (Although quality of life mods are a very different kettle of fish to mods that actively bypass game mechanics. ) The vein miner/tree capacitor thing I'm deeply ambivalent about. On the one hand - YES! Chop ALLLL the trees superfast, get SO MUCH wood! Fabulous! But the downside is I would miss the experience of getting the wood. It's so satisfying to spiral round a 4x4 tree getting blocks or start at the top and blitz your way down. It's like when I'm in creative and I hit a block and it insta-vanishes - I always feel cheated somehow, I want to be able to collect the block. Does that make sense? So I might use such a mod if I was doing a truly humungous build and didn't want to spend forever getting resources but it's not something I'd use all the time.

I see no problem with the mod/addon thing. I have two addons that go on every world i make. (Xbox player). I Amaya use Essentials and Hikers friend (I think that's the name). Basically speeds up walking. And the treepacitor. But I have learned be careful in the nether. One tree can destroy an entire biome if settings are wrong

I like the Add-ons like this. I honestly thought you were just editing for the video. The only thing is how does it work if you wanted to collect leaves? your using a silk touch ax.
@ghostt959 сағат бұрын
I’m surprised you won’t make a tree farm for every sabling in the game, so you don’t have to mine it
@jamesvernon52099 сағат бұрын
I think quality of life mods are fine. So things like some of the bedrock tweaks are ok but anything more than that is taking away the vanilla aspect of the game. I use some of those and a texture pack only. Bedrock players play on a variety of platforms so not everyone can 'mod' as easily as java players can. Each to their own, however there are alternatives, show your building prowess and flex those incredible master builder skills.

does it work on ever wood/leaves you use it on? or is it hot keyed? that's amazing though

I think mods are fine. I use 3 in my world. As i only get to play about 1 hour every couple days i want to get in it more. I play on switch and use storage drawers. I can make item sorters but it take more time and room. I use sparks portal. Get to other locations i been to faster. Like base or certain farms in middle of nowhere or the end above the void with nothing else around. And world essentials. This has some stuff that is a little cheaty though. But they have the tree capacitor
