Yet another great video, makes me miss the big trees I used to do in New Zealand

I'm sure I've seen you boys around the traps, do you ever operate down in the Warragul-Traralgon (Gippsland) area? Most of the tree removals I've done have been small scale jobs (had a couple of insurance 'make-safe' jobs that were a bit bigger, nothing like these though). My grandfather is/was an arborist and I wouldn't mind taking my landscaping & yard maintenance business down that path myself. Good job fellas, your work amazes me!

Awesome work. Notice you are using X Rings for false crotch rigging around 3:20. Nice. But at 4:30 you are using a conventional rigging block for a false crotch situation with the brake at the bottom of the spar. Any comment on whether a tool like Notch Safebloc might have reduced shock loading on the spar? Love seeing your work. Thanks for sharing.
@AceTreeManagement8 жыл бұрын
Tom, can't help you out on that as we haven't used a Safebloc yet, try look up videos on XRRings and safebloc for the info.

Your videos are awesome. I am here in the USA and would love to know the names of your trees - maybe a bit of text IDing each tree?

Yea at first I didn't know this was Australia. We definitely don't have those in the States. The composition looks similar to a Magnolia though, they will dull a chain out quick.

I just don't get some people Mark.! they live under these dangerous tree's, why.? I'm putting together a short film on what the weather has done down here too. I'm constantly quoting tree's that are at some point going to let go. But it's the good ol THAT MUCH.! $$$ we can't do this work for free people... IT'S RISKY!! Good work boys.! Jim
