We select, sample roast, roast, and extract our own cold brew in-House without the help of a third party. We developed this program from the ground up to meet the same standard as our beer program.

Today we are introducing Estrellita. Estrellita is our single-origin House Blend coffee we have worked with Pablo & Eva Del Cid to create. This direct trade relationship affords us a direct feedback loop to our growing partner, which results in better coffee for you. It also ensures that Pablo & Eva have a reliable revenue stream instead of being forced to sell their beans to commodity brokers on the open market.

Nate, nice job, you have a great team and these beans look great. I'm still here commenting on lots of videos. I'm a homebrewer, 13 years, 10 year coffee roaster at home as well. I would urge you to bring in some kenya, rawanda, ethiopians. They have been really strong the past few years. I love me some columbia, peru and mexico if you can find a good one. Or uber geisha which ever country says its so. I know panama is the OG but some others are claiming this status. Shout out my local favorite Colorado roaster Sweetbloom. I'd recommend them to compare or contrast their roasts to yours. I bet if you send Andy some he would critique it. Humble man he is and regarded.

This is awesome! With all the effort that Tree House puts into preventing oxygenation on the beer side, what SOPs does the coffee side do to increase shelf life? Nitrogen dosing and pasteurization? Or is the cold brew just going straight from brew to cans?

What's the lightest roast that you guys offer?

I know you do some tours to Australia to select your hops. For coffee beans, take yourself to the next level and go to Papua New Guinea. Their volcanic soil produces a product that is next level like nothing you've ever tried. You'd probably try towns around the town of Yonke. If you want to sample the products they produce try Guroka coffee.... if you like that, take the dive into going to PNG. It will change your life!!!
