Tree of Jesse in St Mark's Basilica

Beautiful family tree of Mary, mother of Jesus, from her ancestor Jesse. Obviously refers to the Bible since this is a church... We see the Virgin at the top with infant Jesus on her lap, and Jesse at the bottom, the tree springing from his side (probably a reference to Eve, the first woman, coming from a rib of Adam, since ribs surround the organs).
