I might have a lot of problems with the game itself, but there hasn't been a single time when the art/music department of ToS hasn't killed it

Agreed. It's such a shame the game have a lot of flaw. :(

why its always the gacha and whale practice shenanigans that kill god games lol.

@@zanagi The worst part about that its that its not even true, look at games like Genshin Impact or Lost Ark, hell even WoW, BDO and FF14 to some extent, you can have gacha and whale shenanigans, as long as the game its actually good people will keep playing it ToS had a lot of other bigger problems than that, gacha and p2w elements was just the cherry on top

@@TheMantheon563 what was the problem with tos? I left the game when the whaling was insane and it starts selling every +9 equipment with TP points and there was literally no way of advancing without money because the rng of everything is too damn high

@@zanagi Ohh boy, i cant possibly name all of the problems the game had, but if i had to mention some, balance, lack of direction, miscellaneous awful decisions (like how they handle the bots), but most importantly feature and powercreep I could go on about each point but it would take way too long lol i will touch upon powercreep tho, cause i think that was the main reason people leave the game, as you mention, the rng in the game was always a tad bit too much, well, couple that with the fact that every couple of months new gear would come out that would make your current gear (that you farmed like crazy for) completely outclassed and irrelevant But the powercreep went way beyond gear as they randomly increased the damage of all skills by A LOT, till this day, if you start a new account, you will literally oneshot EVERY enemy in the game, bosses included, for the first 450 levels, you dont get to actually learn your classes until endgame, i cant think of a worse new player experience than ToS in that regard The gear system and the endgame currently tho are probably in the best state they have been so far, but its too little too late Also, to be fair, there has never been a point in ToS where you had to spend to progress, the game has always been very f2p friendly, sure grindy but as any korean MMO is
