A good friend gave me a Scion 2 years ago and I am so grateful to have it in my collection. This year it gave me 13. It even gave me 2 the first year after grafting it. It seems like a work horse. Unlike lemon zest it doesn't seem like it's bothered by a good pruning. Great job growing your channel.👍

Great review on a top tasting mango. The only drawback is the variety is a large growing mango tree.

yup. I am on my second flush in 6 weeks and the tree I planted one year ago that was KNEE high is now 7 feet tall and will likely be 12 feet tall by November. oops

I planted ONE seed form 'Orange Sherbet" last year. The offspring has leaves that when crushed have an intense orange fragrance that is vastly stronger than that of it's mother. If the fruit of this variety matches the intensity of the fragrance it will turn the mango world on its head. When I have sufficient budwood I will attempt to push fruiting by grafting onto a mature tree.

I feel the same as you with my mangoes ,I want them organic I don’t care if the outside of them is a little unsightly looking ,I’d rather eat that mango knowing that it has not been sprayed with chemicals!
