I love Energon/Superlink, I have many figures, including the dark Scorponok, the Hasbro and Takara versions, and a custom painted one.

I would be a bit careful with the hinges the arms are attached to (the ones you twist and turn for the jet mode). According to TFWiki, there is a flaw there that can cause the shoulder hinges to snap off due to a design flaw, and that this affects all releases. Thankfully, they did say there is a fix for that by disassembling and swapping the assemblies if I recall correctly.

oooo...I didnt know Dark Scorponok had GPS...so far mine hasnt exploded, but now that I know I bet it will lol..ugh, someone needs to 3d print all the gps prone parts, they'd make a killing

I believe dark scorponok doesn't suffer from gps

The feet didn’t disentigrate however there have been reports of the shoulders becoming brittle along woth the thumb scoops
