I've been a Lenovo guy for years, so when I needed a budget tablet for handwritten notes, I leaned toward the P11. But I watched a bunch of your vids on the S6 and bit the bullet. I'm 2 wks in and luv it! I had no idea about "palm rejection", pen latency, etc. But it's so important now in my work tasks! Really appreciate all the real world knowledge for us who are not tech savvy but just want to get the work done!!!!

I bought the samsung s6 lite used for 200 euros. Taking notes and organize the material to study is really easy on this device. The only cons are the position of the front camera and the lead of the pencil (not so durable)

Mostly I use Samsung notes (for taking notes), one drive (to have them in every device) and pdf reader (if I need to read some information)

@@wackywalks3827 It's not that bad, one thing that may surprise you are the speaker. Akg did a really good job. As long as you have to watch some tv series it's okay In my opinion

If you are drawing, go Samsung. Lenovo makes great tablets, but their pen simply can't compare to Samsung. Plus with the Samsung you get an industry standard EMR pen that gives you the option of choosing many different styles of pens from many manufacturers. I myself use a Wacom pen with my Tab S8 Ultra. It's just more comfortable to hold and use.

more current comparison would be the p11 plus and the 2022 version of the tab s6 lite. i wouldnt buy either of the older versions. for palm rejection just enable draw with pen only in the writing apps settings then it is perfect on either one.

I have the 2020 6 lite, do you think it's worth to "upgrade" to the newer version or another high end? I just use mine for writing and drawing nothing more!! I dont watch/stream anything on it, I prefer using my phone for that.

I’d say, hold onto it till at least the last major update which is Android 13. After that, you might be able to pick up one of these new generation ones that have longer support

Its a no brainer really, Lenovo does not care about its customers, ZERO software updates and support is worse than Samsung. I returned my Lenovo in less than 24 hours (charged me a restocking fee as well 🤬), buggy software, KZbin and browsing not butter smooth and zero way to optimise it or fix issues as Lenovo only wants sales. I’ve had bad experiences with Samsung support on $10,000 items but I’d still pick the S6 over the Lenovo just for the software support

I'll take Samsung over Lenovo any day. I have had issues with Lenovo 's tablets in the past and prefer to buy one only if it is significantly marked down in price so I can use it solely for video consumption, ie Netflix, Prime, Google TV, Tubi, etc. Samsung devices last longer too, even though they are starting to price themselves out of my personal market! :)
