Treeview in MS Access: Part 3 - Updating the treeview, Helper functions

This is part 3 of a video series on how to use Treeviews in MS Access 2003-2010.
Part 3 describes how to refresh the treeview when a record is edited, and includes some helper functions that make coding with the treeview easier.
A full sample db will be available within the next few days at UtterAccess.

Hi, I was referring to building a tree functionality like inserting a new line to the tree structure (sensitive to the line / parent relationship which is selected) or deleting it. Best regards.

Hello mate I followed your perfect instructions but still cannot show the images next to the nodes, no errors but the images not showing, also I don't have the font and icons tabs on my treeview properties, I am running Office 2010 32 bit on Windows 8.1 64 bit. Cheers

Hi TheToonTwister Thanks for the kind remark. By occurence do you mean event? Otherwise I will need a bit more explanation. :) My current plans for part 4 is use of images with nodes, and likely part 5 will be right click context menus. But I am open for suggestions and feedback,

Hi Brygatz Could you tell me a bit more about your viewing platform?Mac/PC? Tablet? Windows? Do you get any error message? Are you able to see any of my 4 other treeview videos? I still have the source material so I could possibly upload in another format but to be honest I don't know which format would suit the broadest audience. I don't recall having done anything different for this part 3, but can't say for sure.
