Tarsar Marsar is arguably the prettiest trek in Kashmir. This is a title we do not give treks lightly. Especially when its formidable sister trek, Kashmir Great Lakes, is in the picture.
However, Tarsar Marsar is a trek where alpine lakes take a life of their own. It is not just the fact that you get to camp beside these royal blue, snow-fed lakes (you don’t get this camping chance even at KGL). Or the secluded nature of these campsites (a Godsend in today’s trekking scenario!).

@ 2:45 the bridge is at hamwas it’s 2&half hour before sekwas , Last year in April last week ,we planned a trip for 7 days to Tarsar marsar ,dodsar and sundarsar . The bridge was broken that time due to snow and it was late so we stayed on the banks of the river near this bridge for night ,thinking that In the Morning the flow will be less and also water will be less . But in the morning when our horse man came to carry us further he told us that it’s dangerous to cross ,so we should take another way around..and we took another route which is not the regular one and crossed the river at sekwas where water was comparatively very less but flow was good.. After returning from the trek ,a week later ,3 people tried to cross the same river near which we stayed for night but unfortunately they fell into it and died..their bodies were recovered days later.. So the thing is we almost tried to cross the river with the conviction that we will make it ..but as our destiny was something else and we opted to take alternate route..

Imad bhai the ridge on right right side of Tarsar separate it from Marsar and Sondarsar. So technically speaking you would have able to see Marsar easily, had you you made it to the top of that ridge and it takes only 30 min of climb to see Marsar lake from the top. So guide bohot chalo cheez tha, fooled u people. Only climb of 30 more minutes and your vlog would have been amazing and no doubt your vlog is still amazing...Last year we made it to Marsar again for the 4th time via Harwan route and also enjoyed the view of Tarsar from the top of this particular ridge.
