Spectacular video! That canyon sure deserves the title "Grand"! I've always wondered what early explorers would have thought when they first got to the rim. 😮

We have said that about so many places we have visited, but this one certainly would have made some hearts skip a beat! I've often noted that many towns were probably settled because travelers looked at the next obstacle ahead and said, "This looks like a good spot right here." 😄 -Ari

Amazing ! amazing ! is it cold there in winter? Dec/Jan/Feb?

Yes, it is! The cold and snow completely change what that place is like compared to the heat of summer. I don't like winter, but I might brave it at least once in the Grand Canyon just to experience it there. I'd much prefer a summer hike, or spring, or fall. Clearly, I'm ready to go back anytime! -Ari
