Der Schwerpunkt ist ohne Pflug schon niedrig genug, dass der nicht mal ansatzweise umfällt. Und mit Pflug erst recht nicht, da ist der rechnerische Schwerpunkt dank Kraftübertragung nicht mehr viel über dem Unterboden.

They used to do this on the fens I think with traction engines pulling the plough with cables to mix the peat & clay to prevent erosion ,then after the Second World War farmers took the turrets off Sherman tanks & pulled the steam ploughs with approx 450 -500hp Crawfords machinery dealers used to demonstrate one at ploughing matches which had 2 Detroit Diesels in it awesome probably cost a lot less!

It would probably be unable to go as deep and then still lift high enough for turning and on top the tractor probably just sits there spinning its wheels. They get better grip this way.

They already exist. But then you need an even bigger and heavier more expensive tractor doing the pulling, since you dont transfer weight from the plow onto the tractor

This is filmed in Holland. They have very specific soil, it contains a lot of clay and sand. Soil is very wet too. Lot of rain leads to forming of layers of sand and clay and soil becomes infertile very fast. In order to mix soil, they have to plow extremely deep every few years, they do not plow this way every year.

@@stonedmountainunicorn9532 Dit wordt eigenlijk het meest in de polders, maar wordt ook elders gedaan, waar een dike laag klei met silt zit dat moeilijk te bewerken is omdat het zo dicht is vrijwel geen struktuur. Onder de klei laag is zand. Door het wat omhoog te brengen en met de klei te mixen, maakt het de grond meer bewerkbaar en biedt ook een verbetering in drainage. Er is ook een probleem met zout. Dat is gegrepen in de klei en geeft problemen in het telen van gewas. De zout wordt mee onder geploegd, daarmee het verder weg van de wortels te plaatsen. Eind resultaat; betere bewerkbaarheid, betere drainage, een oplossing voor reduktie in het zout gehalte van de top grondlaag.
