My heart melted at first sight of that baby goat, it's so cute! My heart melted again when you asked about Carlo's shoulder, what a caring husband you are! I really admire your vitalities, you are really warriors and models for modern people! Thank you for taking us to climb that mountain, I don't need physical strength, but I saw a great view! The scenery of the Himalayas is truly magnificent! 👍🥰🙏🙌

I did a Poon Hill trek about 3 years ago at age 68. I had a porter, which I couldn't have gone without. Even so, the "6000 steps" or whatever it was was the most demanding thing I have done, and I've run many marathons. At one stage I just wanted to sit down, but remembered that this could have meant that I may not have been able to get up.... Thanks for this. It brought back some great memories of the trip, which I put up there as a lifetime highlight. My best friend is Irish and I am now determined to convince him to go to Poon Hill at least. I'm not a big drinker, but you could get beer at the guest houses (Everest Beer?). Worth doing.

Well done guys. I did this trek a few years ago but with a group and a porter who carried my pack. Makes a huge difference. I believe this is now becoming obligatory. Since I retired I have travelled to many of the places you have visited. I enjoy your videos. I'm also a Mancunian but have lived in South Africa for 50 years. Keep up the good work

Love the video, can't wait for more videos from the trek! As a Nepalese living abroad, I haven't had the chance to explore Nepal yet but I did one small trek in 2015 in the same region and it was one of the most beautiful trips I've ever had. The views, the vibe, the simple life of the villagers, the waterfalls you see along the way, were all so amazing!

@@JumpingPlaces it looks exactly how it was back then. The only difference is the Poonhill itself, I remember it being just a grassy hilltop, but perhaps that viewing platform was already there, I just don't recall it. I damaged my ligament on that hike so I will never be able to do those long steep hikes again, but it was totally worth it:)I'm looking forward to your other videos from ABC.

Absolutely Fantastic Gosh I’d love to do something like this! I didn’t realise you could trek without a group. Do you have to reach these 2 spots on your first 2 days? I wonder if it’s possible to do a bit less maybe? do these over 3 or 4 days instead? My ill health holds me back as I’m more limited in my stamina than an average person by a long shot but my mind is very daring and unsure how much my body and lungs would let me get away with so I wonder if there is possibilities to do it at a slower paste! These Goats oMG they are cute! I wanted to get some icelandics ones already now I could definitely go get Nepali ones also if I had enough land to sustain them … just played Loto 😂 wish me luck 🤞🏼 I m so looking forward to see the rest of this trip I really wonder if I would be capable to do some of it! One question? Where did you leave the rest of your clothes? As always well done 👏🏼 Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧

Now in April they have just made it mandatory to have a guide for all treks in nepal except for everest base camp for some reason. There are many lodges that you can stay at before the ones that we stayed at you don't need to stay in these specific villages, the restaurant that we ate at before we went to ulleri is also a lodge. Basically all the restaurants are also lodges that you can stay. This ABC trek is good for that becuase there are many locals living there farming e.t.c and they usually operate some kind of lodge and restaurant, so even though the area is remote you never feel alone or anything. We left our other belongings at the hotel in pokhara, it is common in Nepal that you can leave your things at the hotels when you go on your treks but it is good to check with them first.
