that is my hometown...during schooldays me and schoolmates cycling 15min up the hills and walk to the waterfall. Those were the best days of my life! we go there almost every weekend.

There are a lot of national parks in Sarawak. You'll find a few in some district. Travel up north of Sarawak to Miri my hometown. You can visit cave with prehistoric settling traces in Niah, scenic vanishing lake in Logan Bunut and awesome stalactite/stalagmite structure in Mulu.

Do drop by Sirikin not too far from Kuching. Probably 30-45 minutes drive. The food is to die for.

I did a fair amount of work there. The road lead to the top of Serapi where the telco tower is. I used to drive my jeep up there. Good view from there. There are a few durian trees there and if it is in season finder keeper

Been there once with frog lover. Woke up at 2am and heading to frog pond, sound crazy! No no no, you dint visit to Matang wildlife just nearby, another 15 minutes ride, honey lover Sun bear, hornbill are waiting...cheers for nice video sharing.

I've been hiking there before in a trip. We local called the mountain as Mount Serapi@Kubah National Park. We overnight at the chalet which is very cheap per night fully furnished with stoves and fridge. We visited the frog pond(1000m) from the chalet at night time and the night vibes was so fascinating. The next morning at 5.30am, we hiked to tip of the Mount Serapi 2,950m from sea level. During that time, we get the chance to experience fog swirls and monkeys swinging around on our way to the top, and at the top, the view was breath taking as we can see a clear surround views. It takes roughly 2 hours of hiking with roughly 10stops(I've lost my count..haha) for short rest. 😬 Should try...

Go to Pasar Bau and Serikin tmrw . Just booked a taxi to bring you there .The taxis in Kuching are quite difficult . Here's the timeline . From your hotel ,booked or taxi or grab driver .Booked for a day .So you guys wont miss out anything . Go to Bau ,best to go at the morning .Like 10 a.m. .Just stop by at Siniawan Heritage in the morning .Drive thru the old heritage shoplots . and the straight go to Pasar Bau . Tell your driver to go Tasik Biru .Pasar Bau is an old gold town . and around 12 pm.You guys can go to Serikin . Along the way to serikin , there's a local Bidayuh's stall selling a very rare plants foots . And after that you guys can straight go to Serikin . It's an Indonesia Malaysia Boarder that sells so many thing .But becareful if you go there.Backpack need to be infront . The Serikin Market closed early 3pm. After you go to Serikin ask your driver go to Bung Jagoi . You can hike if you want or just go to the checkpoint where you can swim with fresh cold water river flow .OR you guys can go to Fairy Cave where's adventure start when you hike at the 3/4 checkpoint .A very narrow if you want to hike up there . It's quite cold up there . and after that you guys can go to Wind Cave which I never explore .and there's a cave which are you need someone to go with you into the cave . after you exploring all these place .Go again to Siniawan Old Style Market .You guys can dins there .Try Pansuh 'Manicai or Cangkok Manis ,Quail Bird and many more .
