Katie here, thanks for the feature! For those who caught on to the pseudo-entropy thing I had going on, that was absolutely by design! I used these hexagons previously in a puzzle called "German Beetles" - it's on my LMD page, NotSoMagnifique, and James Sinclair also featured it in Issue 134 of Artisanal Sudoku.

Hehe the start was funny 😅 First puzzle: 4:21 very smooth Second puzzle: 6:41, I got a little lost with my pencilmark (didn't saw the number) but I made it work! I have a lot of plants here, mines are in all on small pots and they are beautifull!! 🌷🌻🌱🌵

Solved it in 4:56, I figured in 10 seconds that 4, 5 and 6 had to be in the remaining cells. Placing the rest became pretty easy with the use of V, X and kropki clues.

7:55 on Trellis today after giving it ~10 minutes last night with no progress, but I was quite close to bedtime so I wasn't in the best shape to solve puzzles 😅 break-in came much more quickly today and it felt like the grid filled itself in afterwards due to the restrictions on 4's and 6's

I had a super-fast solve on the first one, after noticing the division of the grid into low, middle, and high digits. These were almost three independent puzzles, except that 7 and 3 had to go onto opposite positions in a chain link within a particular box. My time was 3:36, solver number 1052. For the second one, not quite as fast but still an efficient solve. So many little deductions are available as you go, so the only question is, which lead should you follow up on next? My time here was 6:18, solver number 217.

9:09 for me probably pencilmarked on beginning too much. In second 18:04 without extra clues. Like only 4 minutes slower with way less quad hints.

3:30 and 7:03 here. My scanning still needs a lot of work. Very happy with my first solve. For the second puzzle I managed the arrows and quads pretty quickly, then spent ages working through triples...
