Thordan, you should call the company where you purchased the transmission and/or hydraulics from. If that was Silver Sport Transmissions, our phone number is 888-609-0070. Whoever you purchased it from will be able to troubleshoot your issue.

Somebody told me there was some bellhousing adjustments to be made on install but now i see there isnt...Thanks..

I'm not sure which adjustments you're speaking of, but if you're talking about dialing in the bellhousing to check for run out, you DO need to do that. It may not be in the video, but it is required to keep the warranty.

@@SilverSportTransmissions I have done hundreds of clutches and 50 & more rebuilds on manual transmisss input shaft is perfectly aligned with the pilot bearing? This is one I have never heard of. What spec do es Trenec consider good? "0.005" thou, 0.050" thou or what? My son is looking at a carbururated 350 create engine a "ZZ6, not an LS, but this sounds wild! Are you talking about a dial indicator and readings at 4 locations to make sure the transmission input shaft is dead on straight with the engine? Locating dowels and a machined surface was never an issue with my experiences either at an independent or dealership. Thanks DK, Omaha. ASE Master Tech since 78 PS. iPhone 6S and it won't let me see the reply I put in here for some reason. Crazy.

@@deankay4434 TREMEC transmissions have a tapered bearing on the input shaft which will wear and fail prematurely or cause shifting issues if the bellhousing is not aligned within 0.005”. The old transmissions had greater tolerances. It’s a simple and quickly done procedure that will potentially save you several thousand dollars and it’s required for the TREMEC factory warranty. You can see an easy way to measure it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKack5pjm6-XpMU

@@SilverSportTransmissions I am not buying one now or ever. The close gear ratio is fine for some if all you want to do is shift all day. As for older transmissions, I did not design them, build them or sell them. If the vehicle goes to the United Kingdom, how many authorized dealer are in Western Europe? To live there would be an expensive inconvenience to any owner with marvelous transmission who experiences a failure but it is expensive to own a Bentley as well. But racing this transmission voids the warranty anyways, so what is the purpose of owning one. The joy of shifting every 40 meters or running 700 lbs/ft or 96.6 kg.m depending on final drive ratio. Hey, if enough people want an item or device and are willing to pay + profit margin, so be it. Cool. But the manufactures of bell housing should get out a dial indicator, check and cut before putting in the box. This is so far concentricity to the crankshaft, what about height. If the bottom of a bell housing is 0.018" thou taller than the top, won't this too make it bolt crooked? Are there shims for that? Our all are perfect!
