If you're up to it, dive into Creed, where Mark Tremonti and other members of Alter Bridge and Tremonti got their start. The first 3 Creed albums were great (1997 to 2001.) The 2009 album Full Circle was ok.

Goodness I love that man so much, lol. Thank you for existing, Mark. Some of his lyrics are shaky in his first two albums IMO, but he has said he writes everything out of places of high happiness/pits of despair/deep anger and you can really feel that in all of his work.
