ROTR tends to lag a lot. Try different maps. Most lags is because the AI builds lots of units and on complex maps the AI will get confused pathfinding.

What kind of version you use? My lasty version that i install is ROTR 1.87 PB 1.8 ZH 1.4 and a little bit good for skirmish to play but it seems my specs is struggling it took me 2-3hrs to defeat the AI in medium or hard but totally i love this mod and good for spend time this for now that we have a community quarantine or a lockdown😊

@@NakedViking My specs are terrible and my PC is so old Processor : Core 2 Quad 2.5 Ghz Motherboard : Intel DG41RQ Memory : 4 GB RAM DDR 2 GPU : GTX 710 Nividia

@@PrinceKassad95 I'm guessing it's the CPU that's the culprit then. I'm running a Ryzen 1700 at 3.7GHz on all cores. Assuming your power supply is powerful enough and that you're comfortable with changing PC parts you could probably find a Core 2 Extreme QX9770 pretty cheap on ebay or something. It runs at 3.2GHz and might give you better performance.

man I really liked playing rise of the reds but for some reason if theres more than 4players/bots it starts to lag mid game and I dont have problems with the original or other mods such as Contra and Shockwave heck I even play 4v4 with the mods except RotR
