Honest prediction: because of the olympics and general trend in a lot of countries/cultures to see skating more as a professional sport than a lifestyle and culture, the term "kook" will make its way in to skating. "Posers" dont tend to exist as much anymore but "kook" will be way more fitting as way more adult learners who know nothing about the culture, specific skate workouts and gentrified skate holidays will become more of a thing. This also goes hand in hand with the professionalism and thought increasing about the time of the board and skating will have its first proper doping scandal (not weed or some minor bs).
