I’m from Germany and I can’t tell you that Essence & Catrice are sister brands owned by the same company who are stated in Germany also Essence & Catrice are both certified cruelty free and vegan especially for their affordable price point that they are just proves that even high end and luxury brands who are not cruelty free can be cruelty free too if they want to be but unfortunately they choose not to be which sucks cuz they leave so many out and could improve their income even more but at the end of the day I don’t care luxury makeup anyway but what I can recommend you from Catrice are their bronzers, blushes & highlighters they’re really good for their price range

@@j.uuuuudy No problem! And Catrice have two different blushes formulas one is matt and one is shimmery and I think you’ll like both versions since you do like both formulas matt and shimmery

This video makes me soooo excited! I'm from Germany so Catrice is really accessible to me and I don't have to go through customs and deal with taxes when I want to try some of their products, like I have to with colourpop or other brands! Edit: I came back to say that your makeup look in this video suits you sooo well. The more muted but still deep eyelook is really, really pretty with the lighter lip.

Ich bin in Österreich und mir ist aufgefallen, dass in Deutschland Produkte von Catrice gibt, die bei uns beim DM gar nicht erhältlich sind. Von ihrer letzen LE mit Disney hatten sie so einen Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Dupe, den ich so gern haben wollte und hab den nirgends in Wien gefunden. Iwie voll unfair😅 Und Colourpop hat echt schlimme Shipping und Taxes nach Deutschland und Österreich. 9€ ist echt der Wahnsinn 🙈

@@MrsDaedalus_ Und dann muss man sich zumindest in Deutschland noch mit dem Zoll und den Zustellgebühren bei Colourpop Bestellungen rumschlagen...das ist mir dann meistens doch zu viel Aufwand😅. Mir ist aber auch bei Essence zum Beispiel aufgefallen, dass es in den USA Produkte gibt, die wir hier in DE gar nicht haben. Da wird man dann doch etwas neidisch...

I´m from Germany, so I basically grew up with Catrice. Where I live, they´re known for being the more mature version of essence, yet they´re still pretty affordable and good quality imo

Really enjoy this series!! It’s interesting to see that the same products trending in Asia and the western countries but with different techniques, the makeup look can have totally different vibe.

re the too-faced concealer: I also was using that religiously but started using the makeup revolution one ($7 USD/ ~$9 CAD) and it is AMAZING. you can manipulate the coverage you want by sheering it out and they have some with olive undertones for the neutral-green girlies

Just realized I've actually never tried anything from Catrice before! Seems like it's nothing to go out of your way to get your hands on, but if you have it readily available to you why not utilize it for a few staples~

I love their concealers, especially "ultimate cream camouflage". It's great to cover acne scars. And i like "More than glow" highlighter in the shade 010❤️

I just ordered the eyeshadow! I’m all excited and it’s been along time since I’ve been excited about make up especially since this is a single shadow lol. He’d be surprised how hard it is to get this color! Even the link didn’t have it

In South America we have similar issues to get to some products, but we get some catrice so from them I like the highlighters and the blushes, also the nailpolish there are some nice colors and it's very affordable.

I LOVE that lip booster. I have the actual shade 040 Nuts About Mary. I've finished the whole gloss 💕 other than that i love their 1. Glam & Doll Lash Colorist Semi Permanent Volume Mascara (pale pink tube with rose gold lid) 2. Brow Colorist Semi Permanent Brow Mascara (also have rose gold lid) 😆

Catrice is a brand that’s accessible to me, so I tried a lot over the years and they’re were kinda hit or miss for me. But I have to say I was really impressed with their more than glow highlighter, I have supreme rose beam, beautiful formula. I actually really like the true skin concealer, their retractable lip liners and the glam and doll mascara. To me their worst products are brow stuff especially the super glue brow styling gel - hated that one.

Catrice was available in Ulta in stores in the states but their not anymore which doesn't make sense because Essence is still sold in stores and both are owned by the same German company so why stop selling one in store but not other? That was pretty ranty.
