New Zealand? No, this is the Communal Ranch of Impasugong, Bukidnon. ⛰
Impasugong, Bukidnon is known as the “Home of the Country’s Finest Cowboys”. It is the only Local Government in the Philippines that owns a ranch. It has 642 hectares and it is located at barangay Capitan Bayong - the Cinema Capital of Impasugong.
This site is the famous setting of “Love Me Again” the hit movie of Matinee Idol Piolo Pascual and premier actress Angel Locsin.
The Communal Ranch’s picturesque landscape and its combination of brown and green colors make the place more cinematically spectacular. The ranch has a "New Zealand vibe" exuded by the unique contour of the mountains, the pine tree plantation in Barangay Bontongon, and Mt. Kulago of Barangay Dumalaguing that can be seen from the main pasture.
Aside from the mountain backdrop, a conspicuous man-made pond on the ranch is the perfect picture spot for tourists or for a prenup. The image of the mountains on the opposite side of the ranch mirrors onto the pond mixed with the blue and white colors of the clouds, making it a magical sight to behold.
There are two Cowboy’s quarters which can also be used as a function hall for events.
Activities in the Ranch includes a rodeo (to be arranged in advance), horseback riding , trail riding, hiking to the waterfall, camping, and other outdoor activities.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞:
• If you are from Cagayan de Oro City, hop into a southbound bus at Agora Terminal.
• If you are from Valencia City, hop into a northbound bus at Integrated Transport Terminal Complex.
• Ask the conductor to drop you at the Panika, the Bukidnon headdress landmark near the Sayre highway and go to the Impasugong Tourism Office located at the back of the said landmark.
• Present your valid ID and vaccination card to the Tourism Office staff and wait for them to check and verify your initial bookings. You will be given an entry pass afterward.
• After receiving your entry pass, you will be instructed to proceed to Communal Ranch.
• Take Note: You are not allowed to head directly to your desired destinations without visiting the Impasugong Tourism Office where you can claim your entry pass.
𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬:
• FULLY VACCINATED individuals who live or reside within REGION X are allowed to visit any of the tourist attractions.
• Make sure to bring your Vaccination Card and any government-issued ID.
• Before visitation, make sure to coordinate and inquire first to Impasugong Tourism Office through their Facebook page “Impasugong Tourism” or contact them on any of the following hotlines: 09656735658, 09558500320, 09367806347, or 09360320285.
• Walk-in visitors without prior/initial bookings will not be allowed to visit any tourist attractions.
• You are not allowed to head directly to your desired destinations without visiting the Impasugong Tourism Office where you can claim your entry pass.
