Good video thanks. Seems like they messed up with the wifi and bluetooth as this could have easily been put inside projector instead of taking up 1 hdmi and 1 usb port.

Can you provide some info on the screen your using and where you bought it pls. Btw mine did not come with dongle, however there was app install ready to go and after install I have two apps for casting from android iOS , I’ve tested both and working seems k9 from Amazon maybe a new version of k9. You have to start the app on projector then it appears on your device as an option to mirror cast to.

I bought this product, but there r lot of movies which they dont show in full size, and in other projectors i have choice how zoom i would like to, but here i tried each and everything but i could not make full size. From top and bottom alwys black black. Is thiss possible for u to give me Suggestions, how can i make full size.

Does the Wifi dongle work if you were to attach the USB wire to another power source (not into the projector USB port)?

Projector is Good. Only biggest issue I have when connected to macbook with the given wifi cast dongle, no access to internet.😢 . Macbook have to connect to projector AP.

Do you only need the dongle for screencasting, I don't think I would use that much. I take it standard WiFi is built in to the projector.

I bough the K9 a couple of days ago. Do you know if there's an issue with the Saturation setting in Picture menu? I tried setting it from zero all the way to 100 and back to zero, and I don't see any change at all.

It supports 4k but you have to connect with amazon or other company stick

​@@shivangioberoi9510 like all projectors this price and where they market 4K. It does not project to the pixel density or resolution of 4K, rather, you can plug in a source of 4K and it will down grade to 1080p and project 1080p resolution.

hi, good review thanks,. looks good but you've not said anything critical about it. for me your videos all look like the black is too blocked and not nuanced. also your audio seems distorted to me. can the black be adjusted in the contrast setting to look more realistic and shaded? please try it and let me know the results. thanks

1. It depends how bright your lights are, and if you use a normal white screen, a wall, or a premium ALR Screen. But I'd say it will look a bit washed out when lights are on. 2. Yes, you can connect to a soundbar. No issues.

I was just researching projectors at this price range and the K9 is very promising. One question, not sure if you had tested, does the K9 auto keystone adjustment allow off-center placement? Like placing the projector off to the side on a coffee table next to the sofa kind of set up? Thanks for the great review!

Hi there. Thanks for your question...the auto horizontal keystone is not as strong as other projectors, so if you place it at quite a side angle, I'd say that you'd have to refine it with manual keystone instead. Slightly off centre it works fine though! Hope that helps 😊

Heard the remote is only infrared and needs to be pointed at the projector. Is it ok if it is pointed at the back of it? I am planning to hang it. Will it work?

Yes, I use it from the back too and it works just fine because there is an IR receiver on the back side also.

I just ordered this, because of the ANSI rating… do you feel like it actually lives up to this numbers? I was going to purchase the pj40 projector but I saw many reviews saying it does and develops orange blobs within 3 months

I've not had it for 3 months so can't really talk about if you get any blobs, but I've able to view the content quite clearly in daylight with the ANSI rating, but I did have to select the high brightness picture mode for it to be viable. So far so good.

these cheap chinese projectors ANSI ratings are not verified. the actual values are about 50% of the advertised numbers. as for the orange blobs, those are probably burned bits of the LCD screen inside the projector due to inferior cooling design. don't use these projectors continuously for a prolonged time.

@@TrendingReviews sorry my comment was poorly worded, the blobs were referring to the PJ40 burning out. And I received the projector and while it was definitely dimmer than advertised it still had a good clear crisp picture and the auto focus is pretty neat. I ordered the Vizony projector and wow that one is night and day in the brightness it’s passable in the day and 100000% brighter in the nighttime .

You may have to contact the seller to see if they provide a replacement remote control. If not, you can try order a universal Android tv remote from Amazon. That might be the easier option

Just returned mine due to some app issues. Image was great and bright enough. Input lag for gaming was unacceptable for me personally as well even with all keystone off. Shame it looked good.

Definitely this one. Both are very similar - almost the same, but the P40 lacks some features like Dolby Audio and Netflix Licensed App, and the K9 has Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6, which I think the P40 doesn't.
