Listen....I am a huge Jay Z fan. I mean seriously! I happen to come across this today and I am so grateful to hear these dudes acknowledge in my opinion the absolute BEST TO EVER DO IT......I have been a day one fan of his. I have always purchased two CDs of his albums. One I listened to and one I never opened to this day right now on my wall. I Love music and have many songs I have written and made but have never posted any which is crazy but I reference him throughout my music and you can here his influence in my songs. Jay Z truly embodies the entire package and the description of what would be a Super Mega Titan Superstar....Lol lol. I recently even did my own personal dedication project expressing the inspiration hes been to me and all that he has given musically to the world and The Culture of Hip Hop. My thanks and appreciation to all the artist who contributed to this piece. Love, Peace, and Blessings My Brothers..."Always A Fan Of The Music".

I think Jay-Z understands that Hip Hop is a young person game. So since he retired in 2003 The Black Album was his last album that had banging singles with the only exception being The Blueprint 3. He doesn’t need to follow trends or even try to make chart topping singles his name will carry his music. 4:44 is the perfect example of this. That album is my 4th favorite from Jay-Z just behind Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, and Vol.3 Life And Times Of S.Carter

@@dawb86 this is a stupid comment. Jay been woke, if you listened to old tracks, you'd hear that. Also, Ye produced beats for Jay and many others therefore, he and Jay worked together based on that. Beats. Jay feed off his own energy. If he's doing all this piggy backing you jokers talking about, where is the protégé? There isn't a person walking which Jay reminds me of. Also, Beyonce got her ways. She was taking that Queen ish too far, she is still married and they both have to learn how to live and work in unison. She didn't used to act like her husband is a formidable man. That comes from her mother and father support and rearing most of her life, then her own fame. She forgot that her marrying Jay also ensured she kept the same type of protection her father gave her and more. You don't marry a king yet not live by the rules. So she had to learn too. Since all of that happened, she works more with him publicly as well. Before, she didn't used to hug him or kiss him in public and at award shows. Nah, that's not going to work!

Unfortunately, he thinks it affects his skills and abilities and yet, SO MANY others, the smartest people on this Earth have bipolar yet still, take the medication that is appropriate to that condition! You mention LSD? Well it's obvious, you clearly would rather see him end up with schizophrenia and psychosis?????? Use your brains.
@CGBalla10143 жыл бұрын
@@Peacelily1083 “use your brains”. You just spouted out a bunch of nonsense so it’s funny that you end your comment with that. Clearly you only take what’s given to you from top down. On a human to human level, I care about those that are in my immediate area. It’s called minding MY OWN business. Now with that being said, if Kanye West came out with a psychedelic album, then it would be great. Most of the artists that have a psychedelic phase tend to showcase their most creative work while finding out what’s real in their life. Look to Mike Tyson and how he is today. Now I get that it doesn’t always work out, but that goes for anything in life. I mean shit, you mentioned that Kanye has already had issues without the psychedelics. So even without the thing YOU fear being involved, he still has hit rocky roads. I honestly wonder if you’re just a bot account activated as soon as someone mentions psychedelics

Jay just never had the super intricate lyricism , thats why he overlooked a lot , he doesnt have crazy schemes like that. However , Metaphors always been on point. And his content has always been whats most important concerning Jay. He just speak directly to people , and always preach real facts always hit the nail on the head , where everyone relate and understand. He just always say the right things. Pair that with Ye producing , every song was a classic. So its like where eminem can rhyme orange syringes dictionary plums door hinges vision scary , Jay dont do all that , but he can just make a rap and rhyme, Scar with Bars , and its simple lyrics , simple rhyme , but the line itself , the meaning , the phrase , the message will hit home on a different level ... So its all about preference really , but you cant say that Jay aint reached to one of the largest fan bases of any rapper before. Not many been that level Iconic , since late 90s after the kane , L , g raps , rakim, pun, etc. Etc, the era after that , its really only been Pac , Big , Nas , 3stacks , Em , Wayne , Kemdrick , and Jay who really reached that Icon level. And Jay on the top half of that list.

It's messed up that fans allow and welcome those like Jay-Z, Kanye, and Wayne to evolve as artists and show massive love .....however Eminem is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't. Thankfully Eminem is obviously an extraterrestrial from a planet that can only communicate in strait bars.

That’s because Jay is better at adapting with the times than Eminem ever has been. Jay picked better beats and even wrote better songs. Neither artist is making music as good as they did in their prime, but Jay at least occasionally made songs that were listenable and Eminem’ over the last decade has been making boring Call of Duty soundtrack music.
