This is the reason I always advocate for new couples to live together away from friends and both families for the first 5 to 7 years. During this time they can seek counsel from anyone on their own term. No one is allowed to visit w/out prior notice, no visit should be more than 1 to 4 wks depending on the distance (domestic or internation). And no one should live with them temporarily or permanently during this period.
