Today, successful acoustical design requires a design team to marry architecture and an understanding of both acoustical measurement and human perception. Modern audiences come to all types of venues with high expectations for intelligible speech and both impactful and tonally balanced music. The designers of modern venues of all types are challenged to meet these expectations.
With evermore complex and (hopefully) accurate predictive and measurement systems, and an extremely wide range of "acoustical" products on the market, acoustical designers have more tools available than ever before. Yet, designers remain challenged to use these tools in a way that provides a coherent and successful acoustical design. Using real-world examples, we will explore the design of several venues and production facilities, and discuss how a coherent understanding of architecture, acoustical measurements and perception have influenced the designs of these facilities.

hello. amazing video. can i use asymetrical corner as bass trap? put some rockwool etc in the back of the alc brick in corner and add hole in top and bottom as ventilation? thanks
