I was pretty lucky get Rhode Island, it is crazy ship. It needs mostly alot of safe play, some cover or distance but if its some opportunity it can crush things. I remember 5cit salvo on stucked broadside Schliffen for 50K with this. But as its just 356mm the penetration is distance dependent alot (of not wrong). This ship need team, it really doesn't tank much. Really exciting ship, for players used to cruiser play it should be easy to accomodate to. You right, it should be normally available for everyone.

That's actually pretty lucky. I always get the Ocean map when I want to play my radar Mino or Colbert.

Its somewhat like Puerto Rico, a big cruiser with big guns and not bb tankiness, bigger guns than pr I feel like they are pretty similar

Its got battlecruiser dispersion, only 1.7 sigma tho, but you get access to the american dispersion mod in slot 6

I don't play wows anymore but this looks like a T10 Georgia with 14 " goons, faster shell speed than usual for US BB/BCs, does it have super heavy shells(guessing no from shell speed)?, does it have improved pen angles?.

GG! First time I have seen this map. But it is actually accurate to naval warfare with on islands to hide behind. This an old discontinued ship or a new one? Zao was totally nuke.

Its already in game since beginning just the spawn rate is nerfed so its rare to get ocean right now

The Rhode Island is a relatively new ship. First announcement for it was in October 2023.

I don´t get what you mean by the headline? It was available for a limited time and quite a couple of people were able to obtain it. In fact, so many of them that I thought they had improved the chances for a drop, because even I got it. You hardly see it in battles though but I think that is because you need a lot of skill for it.

What are the ballistics of Rhode Island based off of? Because it definitely isn't normal US shells, they're way faster.

Edit: I had to learn that it is in the pool but only used very rare. In my opinion extremely rare as I hadn‘t it also for years even by playing daily. It s not in the map pool anymore for a long time now

Its WG they let you lot show us one version to get the publicity then nerf it before they give it to a few players then nerf it again before they put it on general release or am i getting cynical about WG ? damn nice shot on the zao btw
