Well.. he has the occasional match like that which shows he CAN defend.. but he's not consistent nor reliable. But at the same time, the system we play makes it pretty hard for Trent to be consistent. You could probably equate the number of good defensive games by Trent with the number of poor defensive games by Robbo, and we know poor games by Robbo are uncommon.

It is what he dose with the positioning of the sole of the strap, something you have to practice over and over again, he curle it away or he can curle it into, this is not easy to do , that is why only a handful of players can do these things, many players stand up the ball but he send it where the defence has no chance of defending. If the top boys was converting more and the defence did 'nt look as if they were on holiday last season, we would have been a lot closer, so i blame Klop, surly they should have known this was going to happend considering the season before effort.

Must be the player the team built around, we got runners who needed the past, many of our players better running off the ball, and this guy iq is second to none, i believe he dream these things up in his bed at night because when the pass is there , he make it look as he's playing FIFA WORLD CUP ON HIS COMPUTER. Given he does have a decent left foot, I do wonder.. could he be a Scouse KDB in the future? Really don't like Gomez at CB but he seems alright at RB, even can put in a decent cross at times. I do think we'd probably need someone with more quality. There's Ramsay with much promise but he's still young and unproven. We can't take Trent away from RB now.. but we know how much of an influence KDB has for City.. and if we could have our own version in Trent, that would be HUGE.
