It’s almost like hitting your putts at a 45° angle will make the ball not go on your intended line. For the love of god use a ball with a line on it and see how insane your putting stroke is. The ball is literally spinning more in place rather than rolling end over end

Babying those short putts only makes them harder, have some confidence and knock it in. Trent could easily shave off 5+ strokes a round with 10 minutes of daily practice on a mat just making 4-6 footers and building up confidence.

I love that Trent represents Iowa proudly, a lot of people don't know how fun it is growing up there as a kid. I lived in Urbandale (West Des Moines area) for 3 years growing up, & it was a blast! Street hockey, building awesome treehouses overhanging the creek, & Hawkeye football - as a kid, you can't beat that with a stick! Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the winters, one of the winters I lived there, the average high was a negative number if you went off of the wind chill number!

If he carries his 5 iron 165 he should be playing a course around 5900 yards, if that course is 6300 it's too long. He can't keep having 190 shots into greens and lay up, his short game isn't good enough as he will still make bogey or worse much more often than a par.

Trent daddy, hitting your driver further doesn’t mean swinging harder homie! It could be time to try to learn about swing path and face angles. Straighten out the slice even 50% and you gain that 15-20 yards you need to have more comfortable clubs in your hand for your approach! You got this dude.

If using the driver x 28 method, I'm guessing Trent's "recommended" box should be closer to 5700-5900. I would wager that if you really average out every single drive, he's closer to maybe 200 yards. He struggles to reach sub-400 yard holes in two -_-
@CynicalFOLEY
@CynicalFOLEY Күн бұрын
@@ForePlayGolf Yeah, which is too far. If Trent's average drive is 225, he should be between 5800-6000 yards. Just look at the first hole. He hit a good drive and he still had 174 into the green on a par 4. If he's playing from the whites (the correct tees for him) he has 150-155 in. Look I know you can't just change the tees he's playing in this series because that looks bad. If he moves to the whites and breaks 85 within an episode or two, you'll get tons of people saying it's invalid and that he cheated to get out of the challenge. It's hard place to be. But also, wouldn't it further push the idea that teeing it forward is good? We've watched tons of episodes of Trent struggling from the blues. If he plays from the whites and plays well, that's proof that people should tee it forward. Just my two cents. It gets frustrating watching someone struggle when they don't have to.
