Correction: It was Capa who "advised" HCB to call himself a "photojournalist", rather than a "surrealist", so that he could sell his work. The big photo magazines at the time (Life, Look, Harper's, etc.) were not interested in anything as esoteric as surrealistic photography.

Trent is in a league of his own and sees the world in a different way to most other photographers. He is completely authentic and has learned to express that authenticity is his own uniquely creative way. A lesson for all photographers; don’t follow anyone else, only you can take this journey and photograph the life you see.

Terrifying story, i could only imagine what that last memory of his mother is like. For years later to be brought to that state just speaking the memory. Goddamn man i miss my mom
