I’m an 81 year old who is excited for Fridays and Mondays to see the progress with this new addition-and want you guys to work faster so it can be ready for the new baby!!! So glad Trent has Brandon and Grayson on his team to help get this addition done. I’ve been watching from NC since you had to leave van life and moved in with Trent’s mom. A few years ago, I didn’t understand what Utube was-now it entertains me🤔!! Love watching sweet Leo and so glad he has Aunt Jennifer!

I also live in the Utah Mountains. We have ceiling fans in every room. It’s helpful when it’s a bit too warm, but not hot enough to actually turn on the air conditioner. (Yes. There are days in the summer, even in the mountains, when it gets too warm). It also disperses the heat around during the winter. I like them.

Oxygen monitors that measure oxygen saturation are not reliable at high altitude. Allie should see a high altitude neonatal specialist to help avoid pregnancy complications.

You could put some hinges on the end of the trap door so you don’t have to lift it out of the way. You could also put a sheet of plywood on the back of the ladder to keep it square.

I think it would be easier to open with a piano hinge on one side and a cable assist on the other. I know it's not going to be used often but it will be difficult and dangerous having to open it in its current configuration.

I had our shower control handle put away from the shower heads so that you can turn the water on without being under it. I turn it on, put out my hand to check the temp and then step under the water.

Allie, you are too young to know of a thing we made to cover our necks & the front of us when we pulled it over our heads. It keeps the neck & chest warm so take that idea & find a pull over shirt of Trent's (sweatshirt) & cut out the arms & sides & some of the back. That will give you an extra layer in the front for warmth under the coveralls while you have a baby bump? Might help! Stay safe & warm.

Although more common, the shower mixer does not necessarily need to be beneath the shower head. The hotel we are in had the mixer on the wall opposite the rain head. That way, a guest can adjust the mix without freezing or scalding. We even had a shower mixer on a side wall.

As a kid, we had a trapdoor over our basement stairs, but it hinged sideways so that it was easy to open.
