The deep/funky house sound had a huge heyday in the beginning of the millennium, but afterwards there was a sudden boom of the so called 'minimal' electrohouse sound. So Trentemoller followed suit like many other producers at that time unfortunately.

To me this is exactly the same genre of music that is played during the facebook version of tetirs. Very beautfiul and well executed. Not much of a tune to get up and dance to but one for the bar on a saturday evening before the night gets going. Top notch execution though.

So many details in this track, wrote with Trentemøller who by the way is Danish. Asked him if he ever would do these soulful / deep house tracks again, and he answered - "Im not looking back". I dont think he will make tracks like this again. Sad!

Outside of Soulful or Vocal House, most house music gets very predictable. What I like about this track is that it constantly kept me guessing throughout the whole 7 minutes! It's reminiscent of BeBop Jazz in its quasi-improvisational nature... in short...HOUSE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG, SAY WHAT?
