I just recently started going back to Aldi, and am loving it. All their non name products have no artificial colors and seem to have better ingredients. Saving probably 30% on groceries. The big name brand things there are not a great deal, so stick to their own brands. I haven’t noticed any difference in taste or quality. We have 2 ALDIs in our town and one recently put in a bunch of self checkout lanes….go at your own speed 😊

I don’t have an Aldi near me but when I lived in upstate NY, I dabbled. Most things were good. The only thing I could not get on with was the pasta sauce. It tasted so metallic to me.

I have heard the red bag chicken patties from Aldi taste just like Chick fil a, have not tried them but I assume the chicken strps would taste the same! Will have to let us know if you like them!

The organic p.nut butter & ketchup is very clean. Aldi Girl Scout dupe cookies are really good. Have to try the chocolate chip brioche bread. Its so good as toaster / french toast or bread pudding. Their fruits & veggies are usually good. Lots of reasonably priced organic. I find best selection is when they 1st open.

That baybelle cheese here is 8.97 Canadian even at Walmart. We pay SO much more for food here it's crazy. You could basically buy 3 packs for every one we buy! It's sickening really. I know you don't seem bothered by the "cashier" situation in your local grocery store, but man is it a pet peeve for me. I'd rather be behind the register, scan and bag my own groceries than be rushed through the conveyor belt. I purposely only use self checkouts now, or frequent stores that bag my stuff (they cost more). I was miffed one day when a "cashier" was shoving the person's stuff in front of me on top of other stuff she had rung through for him. No care or consideration at all. And because of the big C, they were only using one belt rather than the two they should have been using which added extra pressure. When she finished scanning my stuff, she gave me something on the receipt to rate her. LOL. I should have rated her then and there! I was appalled. Thanks for listening to my rant. Edited to add, our water flavour is 3.37 per 48 ml. It's almost comical at this point.

Oh man I’m not gonna lie I did not enjoy the process at all! I felt so rushed & stressed. I understand they cut costs this way but boy it was stressful lol So rant agreed with 😆
