As someone already commented here, tiyanaks are like demon babies that come back to haunt or take revenge on those that killed them when they were new born. Some say they become demonic if they die as infants without being baptised according to Christian faith. If they do die somehow but were baptised before, they may go directly to heaven and never become tiyanaks (or so some folklores or urban legends here say).

No you are confusing Jobert to a deleted character Jeremy who is base on the urban legend of human snake kidnapp a famous actress later evolve to kidnapping women in change room in malls. -Jeremy is a dragon humanoid in the source material. He is reform in current issue and no longer kidnaps women. - Jobert like his komik book counterpart is a game and tech Otaku who died turned to ghost due to over playing games. And has been adapted by couples who are god and goddess of games and toys in Philippine myth. Who instead of making old version of toys and boardgames now run internet Cafe and arcade store franchise. They were also sadlyv cut in the show. Hopefully Jeremy and the God of games couple gets adapted in season 2.

It was widely used in Luzon and other parts of the Philippines prior to and during the 16th and 17th centuries before being supplanted by the Latin alphabet during the period of Spanish colonization.
