As someone who grew up in a totalitarian socialist regime, I can tell you that the idea of slavery reparations is socialism. I have no doubt that her intentions are good, but she lacks the understanding of the corruption and moral bankruptcy of socialism. Do not be deceived. It may sound SO SO GOOD and SO SO LOVING, but I've lived through the brutality, corruption, and evil of socialism, and I know the truth. Socialism sounds so good on paper because it sounds altruistic, but it will bring about much more oppression and injustice and will worsen every problem.

@@spirit13the1st6 The author featured in this video thinks that student loans should be forgiven. People took on debt, went to school and she thinks they shouldn’t have to pay.

@@mrs.americanpie2079 I don't get you people. Reparations are not unprecedented, german,Japanese, so on. You mean in your heart of hearts that the horror of slavery should not be compensated ? You did every horrible thing to our ancestors than can be thought of,and when you finally let us go ( so called freedom) you still wouldn't leave us alone. You closed the door on almost every occupation, and even today we get no respect for giving America an economic head start on the world ( Free labor). In 20 years we spent 2 trillion dollars in Afghanistan accomplishing what? Pay your debt and leave us alone.

@@spirit13the1st6 My post did not advocate against reparations. I simply pointed out that she is for cancelling debt for student loans. A conversation could be had on what makes it moral to cancel/forgive debt in some cases and not others, but that is not the discussion. If you are going to state unequivocally that reparations to ADOS are a debt and debts must be paid, then that guiding light must apply to people with student loan debt, credit card debt, balloon mortgages, and various kinds of fines.

@@mrs.americanpie2079 That conversation about cancelling student debt needs to begin with Joe Biden´s great idea to punish poor and middle lass students by excluding student debt from bankruptcy - while allowing all other debt to be forgiven (for buying TVs, yachts, mansions, anything else.) Freezing Minumum wages since 2001 to 1/4 the rate of inflation , and letting college costs spire upward to one-and-one-half X the Median income FOR ONE YEAR of tuition, so only the wealthy can attend university without a lifetime of debt, controlls the underemployed underclass. The other option is join the military, creating an endless supply of soldiers to fight America´s endless wars. Or, get caught stealing Pampers or not paying speeding tickets, and become a slave in the US penal system, something so huge and cruel nothing like it has ever existed in history. It was also created by "hang people for jaywalking" Joe Biden, who actually bragged his 1994 Crime Bill would do all but that. It´s payback time. Now Biden gets to be President and Harris, Queen of the Californian prison system and her homicidal cops gets to be Vice President.

So I read the piece on Tressie losing her child. Losing a child is heartwrenching. Blaming your inability to communicate with your health care professionals is your fault, not theirs. You seem to just think that all you have to do is say you are bleeding and they will figure it out. You are the one responsible for communication all your symptoms. Has nothing to do with Black and White. How dare you accuse the medical field of treating black people different than white. Rich and Poor? I will agree that there is a difference. THAT is why Medicare for all is a terrible idea. If I want to pay for better heath care, I should be able to. Twice as many black babies die because of pre and post natal care and it has to do with money, not color.

Shut up, fool. How dare you invalidate someone’s experience, because you think you know the whole story or what it’s like to walk in her shoes.

I was not enough for legal, PHRC PA human relations Commission...as Tressie so eloquently explains, it's always something--w/professionals and job descriptions--unable to serve us. I don't remember these instances when we were the workers.
