Here's updated Jimin info that some aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! Jimin's voice is everything. No one can quite match his sound. My favorite. Lllllooooovvvweee it. When he started in 2013, he wasn't a singer, and he got very few voice lessons, but he was expected to sing a lot of the high notes. jimins voice is so amazing when you hear him sing silently in the back without music. it´s so high without trying. and it´s hard for the sound guys to pitch him right when they do soundcheck. because his voice just stands out so much and they don´t want that to over shower everyone else (not that he is better than the other but his voice is just so unique and high). he has a cute song he just came up with on the spot on their show. it´s called don´t wake me up. please react to that

Its so easy to get used to the way Jimin's voice sounds and the range he sings, and we end of taking for granted how high some of those notes actually are. To do them while standing without distractions just jamming out in the shower would be impressive, but he is doing them consistently, while dancing, song after song. Whenever I need to remind myself of the reality of how high he is singing, I'll listen to Lee Hong Gi (from FT Island)'s high notes. Even though the tone and level of power is different, note for note they are in the same range during the high parts. Jimin is really amazing.

It's really cool that you noticed how the lift in Lie was similar to the lift in Set me free part 2. To me, this is very intentional. The song Lie, to me, is very connected to Set Me Free part 2. at 14:58 you were talking about the "circle balls of light" the official lightstick for BTS is called an ARMY BOMB - they're synched up to the lights in the performance so the lighting crew can change the colors, spell out words, hearts, pulse, blink and change the mood to fit each song. It really is an amazing thing to behold in a stadium filled with 50K, or a small intimate setting. We can even use it at home to synch to certain MV's (they're marked as such). It is very much a call and response and it makes the fans/audience a part of the show which is why we always say there is NOTHING like the energy at a BTS show! Each body is a light, a star, a part of the galaxy and the collective joy/energy - for the guys onstage and us in the audience. I think most Kpop groups have their own version of a light stick - some stylized fan participation device. I know Coldplay is known for their lighted wristbands that give the same feel at their shows. I don't know the whole history behind them - and it's not unique to kpop - but it certainly is much more prevalent. There is also something called a "black ocean" which has the opposite feel - when fans turn their lights OFF - and it literally creates a sea of blackness in the audience - which is a very negative signal that the audience sends to groups. Far as I know our guys have experienced it twice -- and ARMY has vowed to never let our guys see that again. We will always light their way.

Nice reaction! Magic Shop is a great song, it is to comfor ARMY and others going through a hard times,. One of the many reasons I am a fan, is how they foster acceptance of others. And they great music and dancing. I love all 7, but Jimin is my bias. The lights are called Army Bombs, they are purchaseable. At the concerts you can pair it to the app for the light and enter your seat and they control the colors during the songs.

That half jacket Jimin wore in the Fake Love performance was (and maybe still is) exhibited in the BTS museum. That performance was the 1st ever fancam to reach 100m views on YT. The opinion about Jimin's voice is the most polarised in the fandom. Majority either love it or hate it. Very few are indifferent. His voice is also the most underrated and criticised in the fandom. This happens a lot when GP, reactors and voice coaches enjoy /praise it. BTW, I'm in camp "love".

Best example of his voice for me is a scene from their vacation show "In the soop" where jimin had been woken up by jhope and hes exhausted from playing games all night and didnt want to wake up.
