@@RelentlessNationFACT: Rodeos and calf roping are nothing more than manipulative displays of human dominance over animals, disguised as entertainment. Calves who are roped while running routinely have their necks snapped back by the lasso, often resulting in neck injuries and even death. So how can anybody with a soul, find enjoyment in watching a cruel act of animal abuse? Countless animals have paid with their lives to satisfy humans’ desire to play cowboy in events such as calf roping, bull riding, steer wrestling, etc. All the rules that are in the rodeo circuit only exist to protect the rider and not the animal. Their rules are more like a manual on how to abuse animals. The truth is, the use of electric prods and devices such as bucking straps, which go around an animal’s abdomen, is extremely painful and abusive. Cattle and horses may also be zapped with electric “hot shots” so that they’ll charge out of the chute, calves’ necks are twisted as they’re violently slammed onto the ground, and horses are viciously spurred into bucking. To make bulls stronger and more aggressive, they may also be injected with anabolic steroids. It's all rather cruel and designed to inflict severe pain and suffering on those innocent animals. With those devices, the rodeos are taking animals that are normally tame, docile animals and then provoking them to be fierce and aggressive. The animals used in rodeos and calf roping are captive performers. Most are relatively tame but understandably distrustful of humans because of the harsh treatment that they have received. Many of these animals are not aggressive by nature; they are physically provoked into displaying “wild” behavior in order to make the cowboys look "brave." Seriously? How little are those boy's wee wees that they feel the need to make themselves look like a man? All that B.S. just for the sake of entertainment for the heartless spectators. 🤦♀️🤬👎
