Jonesy! You've got the Best Show! Unbelievable! Today, you have Trevor Rabin! From Rabbitt, to Yes, to his Movie Score Work! Genius! Great Interview as well!

Woooooow, I haven't heard anyone mention Rabbitt in a hot minute. Deep dig!

Trevor is really laid back, he’s fairly prolific in his own rights. Great interview...just runs along easily...very enjoyable to watch..

I saw the Steve Howe Yes then a few months later saw the ARW Yes, and the ARW Yes blew them away! Although, the Steve Howe Yes had a great setlist.

Good to see someone with a punkrock background and a prog-rocker can get to get together and have an animated conversation, after all. Back in the day that would've been quite unthinkable. In hindsight the sharp devision between bands and genres was for the biggest part PR and theater.

Thank you very much for having Trev on :) Love the casual talk. No so much for the "fair fight" with animals

what was the problem with the "fair fight" conversation? I am a hunter, and I didn't see a problem with what they said.

Scant knowledge of Rabin’s history, pulls off a great interview. Jonsey is the best!

You don't need to have the knowledge. Just ask away, and have fun with it!

Two very opposite lads, but one fantastic interview. A credit to the laid-back demeanor ol' Jonesy.

I guess Jones could have done his homework as to who is actually in Yes now. But a cool interview anyway. And I dig his work with John Taylor. I saw that band live. They were very cool.

Have no idea who "Jonesy" is, but it's rare an interviewer is this out of the loop with the interviewee. Could've showed a little respect and done just five minutes of research to get up to date. Hell, even one minute on wikipedia would've put him a lot more in touch than he was with Trevor/ARW. Thanks for the upload regardless.

Don't worry about it, mate. He only played guitar with the Sex Pistols, and ranked in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." Nobody special. 9_9

Zoos are not like jails for animals. They protect many species and you don't truly understand that animals in the wild rarely veer from there habitats which are quite small area wise unless you are talking about migrating birds or animals that must migrate to find food, the good modern zoos not only protect species, but also create natural habitats and do a lot with enrichment for the animals which helps them tremendously. Great interview otherwise...
@timwilliams43066 жыл бұрын
Um, "yeah," they're jails. Prisons more appropriately. Make up any excuses ya want, they'll disappear like the circus one day as more and more people wake up to how abhorrent they are. Pretty effing arrogant to assume you know what's best for nature, and then to impose your will via imprisonment.
@sspbrazil6 жыл бұрын
No they aren't, sorry there you sanctimonious twat. I volunteered for years in zoos and belong to the WCS (Wild Life Conservation Society), the organization runs the zoos and aquarium in NY and they also send out scientists all over the world to study wildlife and habitats, the work they have done has been determintal to help preserving wildlife around the world. I have also done research in areas of marine biology and sea turtle conservation, the modern zoos if they are part of the the AZA (American Federation of Zoos) are dedicated to taking care of wildlife that has either been neglected, injured or has lost its habitat, these zoos keep these species alive and thriving and the keepers and Veterinarians that dedicate their life's work to these animals play an important role in making sure the animals are cared for properly. You clearly have no clue about wildlife and habitat, otherwise you would not have made such an ignorant statement. Go get an education instead of riding this "oh poor animals" train you are on because it is just dumb. Though I enjoy Jonesy's show, he says a lot of things that are his opinion, but don't necessarily have any facts behind them. I find it ironic coming from a guy who always says he does not like to leave his house and enjoys watching hours of TV. Lol. That is his habitat and like most animals, he does not stray very far from it.
@timwilliams43066 жыл бұрын
+Scott Pelzel Um. "Yeah." They're jails. I know the excuses may help you feel better, but the fact remains: Zoos ARE imprisonment. Sorry.
@sspbrazil6 жыл бұрын
Feel better? Lol. You have no clue what you are talking about, give it a rest and actually learn something instead of making ignorant, generalized comments based on nothing more than your deluded opinion. It is you that must feel good about the fact that you think all zoos are prisons when the reality is far different, but allow your delusions to guide you, it seems to be par for the course for a lot of people.
@timwilliams43066 жыл бұрын
+Scott Pelzel But...you miss the point, yet again. Let's compare: Do jails/prisons have bars that keep their inhabitants from escaping from them? Do zoos? Are the people allowed to leave jails as they please? Are the animals allowed to leave zoos as they please? Deluding yourself is comfy and cozy, but it never changes reality.
