When Whitman says "go back to rear foot off your jab," he is referring to returning to the defensive stance or repositioning yourself after throwing a jab. This movement helps you maintain balance and readiness for any potential counterattacks. Additionally, he also teaches how to throw a jab by shifting your weight from rear foot to lead foot for "snapping jab" and "entering the pocket." This suggests that the jab can be used both defensively and offensively. When he advises attacking with a jab when your opponent is about to shift their weight to their rear foot, it's likely because they are less mobile and not as quick to respond during that transition. Attacking at that specific timing can catch them off guard and make it more challenging for them to counter effectively.

@@somdutroy ehh I wouldn’t say he’s surpassed him. Dustin is easily the best striker in the division. Just his IQ, his defense, and the way he mixes things up. I think Conor is a close second with Gaethje right behind him. But the amount of just pure power Justin carries in his hands are pure deadly. We’d have to see Dustin vs Justin 2 to see but I really do believe Dustin is the best striker in that division right now. It’s just beautiful to watch
