not getting what the big hype is on CapCut. right now paid for the pro version and I have to customize each sentence to show 2-3 words at a time? I've spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and don't see an option for it. the length of the words are not syncing with the audio so I am manually doing it myself. FireCut extension is $35 that price sucks and I have Adobe having to force me to look for something simple like that but with FireCut I would of been done with this in 5 min. I have 7 other short reels to do with captions. so far the learning curve on CapCut is not worth it. Im going to pay for FireCut cause I need to get on to more work.
@irfangamingacademy46202 күн бұрын
What do you mean each sentence? I use capcut to edit reel and captions. Here's how. Use auto caption to create captions within 1-2mins... check the generated caption in the text window.. Increase the size of the caption (make sure you have applied to all selected to make changes to all of the captions at once), change the font, and add strokes. Then for shorts, it's ideal to have a single or max 2 line showing at once.. do that in the text window itself. Finally add animations to all of those with a simple click. Boom, done. To do that in PP would take ages, let alone the animation and formatting, the auto caption feature itself is really great, saves a ton of time.

Ok so my question is.... How do people make such cool transitions in premiere pro? Are they doing it all manually? I've downloaded some transitions/templates and it takes forever to render or doesn't at all...... If this is the "industry standard" then how are people working with it efficiently? I'm currently working with premiere pro for editing my clients podcast, and making reels. I'm thinking of switching to capcut because of the transitions and how easy/fast it is but long-term I want to have portfolio type work and I'm afraid the content I make in capcut won't be up to "standard" simply because the transitions/effects are all "done for me". Any thoughts?

Great video! effects, transitions and text have always done my head in Premier Pro

Premiere is AWFUL with all of those. And I'm a Premiere guy.

I like Capcut but I wish it would load my Adobe Fonts so I don't have to import them as PNG overlays. I also would like to purchase the software once instead of paying the subscription fee. I do still use Premier to cut video then import it into Capcut.

I’m torn. I’m not a pro but have been editing for 6 years. I’m very comfortable in premiere despite not using its full capabilities. Over the years I’ve tried quite a few editors hoping to find something comparable with premiere for cheaper. I’m impressed with cap cut especially with the amount of transitions, effects etc that can be done with ease. The one thing that may be a dealbreaker though is the timeline not moving with playback as I’m an audio editor if you know what I mean. I think really using both is most ideal. Premiere for initial cut and cc for bells and whistles. I will say though I have some footage with a rustle on the mic that’s unusable in premiere. My heart sank thinking I have to refilm but one button in cc and the rustle is inaudible!

That is really interesting. As a professional editor for 24 years I'm really surprised. CapCut could even be great for a quick rough-cut or assembly on professional productions. The only thing I'd say still needed for that is XML, EDL, AAF, OMF or other cross-platform export options for mastering and grading, audio mixing etc. on the pro systems. Do you think there's a chance that's coming? Lumafusion which is also a mobile device-based editor does now support XML export, so it should be possible if there's the will to do it. Collaboration features could absolutely put CapCut at another level.

After 8 years of using Adobe for professional projects I should say Premiere doesn’t worth the cost/time/pain. It’s ridiculous to have to link to AE for many pro-level actions. It’s an incomplete, unstable, poor and old fashion app which doesn’t help the creativity flow!

What about Color Correction and Grading? is it better in CapCut too?
@TrevorJonescreator5 ай бұрын
Premiere is more robust, but CapCut is easier, especially with the new color match feature if you’re going for a certain vibe. I just put up a color. Correction video a week or two ago.

Not everyone wants to spend the time equivalent of getting a college degree just to edit some videos. Which is why CapCut (and Final Cut and Resolve) have massive traction. Adobe is obsessed with the tyrannical pretense that their apps are the "industry standard". WOW people use the term 'photoshop' even when they aren't editing in the actual photoshop app to mean editing digital raster images. WOW. Congrats Adobe. LOL, reality check, Adobe is a 20th century company with 20th century paradigms. Technically but psychologically and sociologically. The belief that they can monopolize creative design software forever. Force everyone into their subscription scheme where you pay for 50 apps but only wanted or needed 1-3 of them. Ridiculous. But wow you are getting FIFTY apps (you didn't want or need, taking up attention space in your mind and soul like a bug infestation) it's such a great deal!!! WOW!!! Tons of stuff you NEVER wanted or needed WOW thanks Adobe! Genius! How great is Adobe. LOL. Editing gurus like Larry Jordan have been studying Premiere for THIRTY years and he's JUST mastering his craft and has made / worked on ZERO successful actual movies but makes his full time living teaching people Premiere (because it is so complex and such an endless rabbit hole labyrinth that there is a marketplace for people like him) so they can become just like him...AND then those people later launch 'how to edit in Premiere' KZbin instructional channels. LOL. WTF. WHY o dear lord WHY...ugh...the horror the horror... 😆😰😱

only 7 words : Premiere is unimaginably more powerfull than capcut dont come glazing in the comments
@TrevorJonescreator3 ай бұрын
Well, of course it is but it also has 20 times the learning curve and most people don’t need all the things that premier can do. I do, and maybe you do, but not most people.

@@TrevorJonescreator if you want to get better that the 420p ass video you can make outta capcut , then you HAVE to use ae or premiere or basically any software other that capcut tbh

@@TrevorJonescreator no offense but capcut is also becoming good it just cant be compared and made to fight against professional software like ae and premiere

Just out of curiosity, why not bring a clip into the timeline, and then trim it up? Just seems like extra work to trim the clip before the timeline, as you will very likely continue to trim and adjust on the timeline.

That's what I almost always do, even in Premiere. It's usually MUCH more efficient!

How do you purchase capcut pro for PC in the US. I get this message "The current region doesn' t support purchases on CapCut PC. Please purchase on the mobile app" Should I use a VPN service. Or do I sign up for the mobile app. Then can I just sign in on my PC and use pro,
@TrevorJonescreator3 ай бұрын
Weird that it says that in the US! if you wipe CapCut out off your desktop completely, and use a VPN to another country that does support the pro version using a brand new email, it may work. But I don’t know what countries support the pro version right now if the US doesn’t! Using a VPN is very hit and miss.

Typical Mac user, thinking easier is better. If you want to stay in the amateur arena or slap something together quickly, Capcut is great. But it has nowhere near the capability of Premiere. Capcut may have a lot of built-in effects, but just look at them. They're horrible, and there isn't much you can do to tweak them to make them better. The loading issues and crashes he describes only happen on low-end systems. If you're serious about video editing, do yourself a favor, take the money you would put into an overpriced Mac and just get a quality PC and you won't have processing issues in Premiere. The learning curve in Premiere is substantially longer, but once you've become a pro at using it, you can do so much more with it. He talks about After Effects as some kind of useless upsell, but the truth is, it's a huge advantage to have a whole suite of tools available that integrate across all of the adobe lineup. Capcut may be easier to use, but definitely not better. That's like saying a car is easier to use than a fighter jet. Of course it is, but the abilities between the 2 are vastly different.
@PotatoGunCamperАй бұрын
Yes, it is but it might not be around for too much longer. You also have to deal with questionable Chinese government inspired data security issues. What I want to see is an American or Western European country who will make a safer video editor that is similar to capcut.

You gonna get some hate for this video mate 😂 Totally agree though, Adobe Premiere is overpriced nonsense that hasnt been viable for years. Why people still stick with it is beyond me with so many better programs for cheaper or even free! Great video

Premiere has a much smaller niche than CapCut for sure! And it for sure is behind on a lot of stuff. I love premiere, but HATE it's built-in ish graphics and text templates. So cumbersome. And effects? Forget about it. Thanks!
